    In relation to this whole controversy about reducing the two metre social distancing to one metre, I just can't decide whether to listen to the publicans and restaurant owners who are motivated to lobby by their for-profit operational models or the various infectious disease experts who have careers in which they have specialised in viruses and their transmission for decades who say we should keep it at two metres... it truly is a partisan conflict!

    I think the consistent low cases for the past week or so dispells the myth that people gathering before phase one was some major issue. It's a non-story.

    I know, I know, listen to Tuesday's tally but ffs let us be happy, we haven't had a Monday without deaths as long as I can remember, so regardless of tomorrow, it's a fantastic figure for today!

    No, there was a day in March post-first confirmed case. But this is the first time since March.

    It's slightly disingenuous to suggest it's just business owners that want the 2 m rule adjusted.
