    Police. Absolutely love some of their stuff. Learned to play every breath you take on piano as a kid and can still remember some of it despite not playing in 20 years

    Pet shop boys. Could never warm to dire straights where i did like a few of the pet shop boys songs. Not a huge fan of either really.

    Dire Straits ; one of my nominations and so many great hits. Would be a potential overall winner for me at this stage

    The Police ; pretty even match-up for me, but there's more Police songs I love than Springsteen ones

    Eurythmics - I prefer Annie's voice to Debbie's, and better lyrics I think. Close call.


    Dire Straits - Knopfler's guitar alone would win this. Did the Pet Shop Boys stuff even have melodies?

    Police - Again, both great, but I prefer the band that kicked off Sting; seemed a bit more varied than Springsteen.

    Dire Straits not a big fan but they're better than PSB
    Bruce Springsteen I like the Police but the Boss had a stronger run during the 80's

    Dire Straits tough call this one but Dire Straits have some cracking songs
