Duran Duran ; a fairly evenly matched pairing for me, but Duran Duran just edges it as I get more excited when Girls On Film, Rio, or Hungry Like The Wolf come on the radio than I would for any songs from The Cure

Prince for me too, all his 80's album are really great.
Plus Blondie were active only for a couple of years in the 80's and not at their best so hardly the Greatest Act of the 80's

A tough one here. Slash and Knopfler are both great guitarists. Rose had a great voice but The Knopf had a more understated style.
Dire Straits pass through for Telegraph Road. What a tune!
