To be honest that's my fault. I didn't go to Lidl till late and then posted it after. I hope someone availed of it anyway as it was a good enough deal for people having friends over or just having a bottle or two.

Thanks to the extraordinary discounts in December and some thoughtful presents I find myself in the unusual position of only starting on my actual Christmas drinks this evening.

Dry January? - maybe next year :)

The more crates of beer you have in your house the less space there is to heat and when it does heat up the cans will act as mini radiators storing that heat, it could actually save you thousands a year in energy costs :D

Hey Guys any good deals on Slabs of cans, have a party tomorrow night and need to get some. Coors, Heineken, Guinness, etc.

Any pointers appreciated. Was in Tesco yesterday and wasn't great value.

Think I should have got it before Christmas :(

I like the Perlenbacher 8 as it's the only time you get the decent German version of the Perlenbacher and also 'cos buying 8 makes you feel less like a degenerate compared to if you're buying slabs of 24 cans like Guinness lol!

This particular degenerate won't need to be buying any 8 packs for a long time.

I did my shopping/stockpiling before Christmas.

The house is like a bonded warehouse.

You'd probably chip in a coupon.

Likewise. I tried my best to clear out the big Tesco in Tralee of cheap Talisker in the weeks before Christmas but they kept restocking! There are bottles of it all over the house now! :D

After all the great prices before christmas they are all back up again. Nothing as bad :(

Only 9 weeks til Patrick's Day though :)

Fingal County Council are certainly not competent to be making decisions about the most important piece of infrastructure on the island. They need to stick to badly designed cycle lanes and deciding on whether Mrs Murphy can have her kitchen extension.

If Perlenbacher is in Lidl this week, the Polish 7.2% Argus should be in next week or the week after. Used to be €1.50/500ml, think it went up to €1.70 last year but still a great deal!
