Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. It’s been a blast, absolutely loved owning Son this year, 62 points across 6 weeks. Time to get Salah back.
Rashford or Jiminez in for Auba to fund it

Kane to Augero unless Augero gets injured.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,589 ✭✭✭patmac

    Thinking Snodgrass/Balbueno to Camarrassa/TAA

  • Registered Users Posts: 55 ✭✭JayJoe1990

    kolasinac to trippier or luiz

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,815 ✭✭✭bantee

Might have to WC as I need to offload Son and want to go Kane to Kun, plus would need to downgrade elsewhere to fund Hazard.

    Ricky and Snod in danger.

Also thinking of WCing, have to shift Son, Ryan and Chica and can't be waiting several weeks to get the squad back in order, not to mention other potential injuries/getting sick of the sight of some of my players.

    Auba to someone
    Martial to salah

Transfer in None for Aubam he gets a load of assists.

TBC is a sickener. He always gets his goals and assists taken away from him

I'm the opposite. Owned him thrice and got the square root of SFA from him each time. Promptly dumped and he comes good after my rage transfer out. I'll be picking up him up again when he returns in a few weeks just to ruin him for everyone else.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,083 ✭✭✭Chesty08

Richarlison or Wilson out. They’ve been great but the last number of weeks have absolute ****. Only for their early season form they’d be gone earlier

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,706 ✭✭✭dr.kenneth noisewater

Thinking Balbuena/Son/Vardy to Bedernak/Salah/Solanke. Means I'll be playing 442 most weeks with a bench of Solanke/Hojberg and one of AWB/Bedernak/Keane

  • Registered Users Posts: 713 ✭✭✭loadwire

Hmmm was planning to go Trippier to TAA tonight but the fact that trips played and cleaned has me faltering. What to do...

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,354 ✭✭✭Porthallian

Gonna be 0.1 short for TAA unless I move tonight! Don't fancy Lovren long term...

    Sacrifice Richy or F.Anderson?

Have same choice but the fact Richarlison is dropping tonight will influence it.

I am going to try bank all going well. I've got nothing in the bank so severely restricted in what I can do with 1 ft anyway.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,354 ✭✭✭Porthallian

Tempted to get Moura as Richy replacement. He will be Son's replacement I think so could do well

    Thinking

    Kane/Zaha/Leno
    >Aguero/Arnie/Alison

What do people think of that? Worried about Aguero/Arnie rotation.

I'd be worried about Arnie and his injury record

    Could be a good option.

Just gone Richarlison and Torreira to Martial and Camarasa as this will not work for me after any drop in price of Richarlison and looks like some Manchester United cover is becoming essential.
I realise Pogba might be a better pick but Martial still looks like good value at 7.3mill and I just can't fit Pogba in without loosing too much quality elsewhere.

I'm not sure selling Ricky is the right move given the fixtures Everton have.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,421 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

Can someone correct me if I'm wrong but didn't richarlison do the same last season where he got off to a good start and then did more or less nothing for the second half of the season

I could be thinking of someone else but feel like it might have been Ricky

Bournemouth is a perfect fixture for Everton. Both teams will just attack each other.

Was that sons last game or how many does he have left?

Exactly and while it was easy to be frustrated today he did have a couple half chances. He his near impossible to replace at his price unless you have plenty Itb.

I fear those who sell could pay a hefty price.

Yes was him, November '17 he scored his last goal for Watford in PL

He's going after the Man United game next GW

I agree Richarlison is probably a good asset to keep for the season but just have a feeling that Martial will outscore him over the next few weeks. Martial has 82 points in 961minutes played. Richarlison had 97 in 1562 minutes played. I have no Manchester United players currently and they look to be a much improved team without Josie. I had Martial for a while until Josie dropped him for no reason and I think he is the better player to have if he can get a good run of games in the team. If he is not getting selected or scoring then I might go back to Richarlison as he is .4mill cheaper, or even switch to Sigurdsson or Pereyra who are all about the same price point.

    I have martial
I’ll be selling him this week
There is far too much competition for places in his positions now as apparently Sanchez is raring to go like a new signing ........so left wing competition and Rashford can also play there . Up front Rashford /Lukaku and maybe even Sanchez again . He has shown he can’t/won’t play right wing .
Pogba has no competition . I have him but I am still not convinced that I will have any of them after February. Once the players feel top 4 is out of reach (if Chelsea keep winning ) they will undoubtedly prioritize the PSG game whether the interim manager does or not

Possibly but it's only one game and it's Moura or Pereyra for me to replace Richy

Salah finally being transferred into my team next week. Still deciding which of Kane or Hazard will be shifted to fund it

You could be right but he is Manchester United's second highest points scorer so I'm hoping OGS will see the value of playing their best players consistently. He has given attacking returns in the two games he has been available for since Josie left and I reckon he is more likely to score under the new management. I think he is the only way I had available to get an attacking Man. Utd. player without wrecking my team so willing to take the gamble.

That was after no summer break though. I wouldn’t be looking too deep for any kind of meaningful trend as the situations are very different.

Thinking of wildcarding to allow me to have Hazard, Salah, Pogba, Ageuro and Auba.

Elsewhere will suffer. Is it worth it to try eat up points for a few weeks?

Is it an experiment worth doing?

Find out as I wildcard and endlessly tinker over the next week or so!

Yeah he had played half a season in Brazil before joining Watford so had no break in summer 2017.

No World Cup for him last summer so he should be grand for the second half of this season. I'll be keeping him for the foreseeable.

    Fabianski, Boruc

    TAA, AWB, Robertson, Bennett, Digne

Billing, Felipe Anderson, Ricky, Salah, Pogba

    Kane, Jiminez, Wilson

Looking to get in either Hazard, Sterling or PEA and would need to use WC to do it.

Downgrade of TAA & Robertson to fund an extra blue chip player

    Feedback is welcome

Best defense in the league so far this season, would not be selling both.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,254 ✭✭✭✭km79

Gw27 blank for a few teams not far away
Would normally be WC in January but not this year so need to start keeping an eye on this

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,038 ✭✭✭Pete_Cavan

If looking to free up cash, there are a number of good options around the 5 price point to downgrade from Robbo. Digne, Kola and Pereira all get plenty of attacking points and attract bonus points too, cs now and then. I don't see much to be gained from getting rid of TAA as you already have the best budget options in AWB and Bennett. I think TAA is great value and there is not much cash to be gained from dropping him and certainly no points.

Absolute madness, find the money somewhere else. I’ve Lovren and will be doubling him with VVD or TAA next week

Richarlison has better fixtures than Anderson and less chance of rotation than Martial so I'm keeping him for now at least

Im not going to captain either and at the moment, realistically I've only Kane & Salah to choose from for captain. I rather have another proper captain option.
    How is it madness??

Nasri has just been added. 5.5m. If he starts that could be a bargain. He was “must have” during his times at City/Arsenal.

I went Richarlison out for Martial as I already have Anderson and rate him higher than Richarlison. Very unsure who is better between Martial and Richarlison but I think Manchester United have a chance to become much better performers than Everton for the rest of the season and so think I need to have someone from them in my team to keep pace with the other teams that have brought Man. Utd. players in.

It’ll be a wait and see for me on Nasri

He’s 31 and has barely played since 2017

Wouldn’t go rushing to get him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,778 ✭✭✭✭Ace2007

Fab to Gunn I'm thinking - will free up some cash, will also give me a keeper with a decent fixture next few weeks, and will also get rid of Fab :)

Will keep Son until after the united game, and then look to downgrade him to fodder, and upgrade Kamara to Rashford.
