Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

They’ve also started advertising, so we should start to see more of a buzz around the boards.

No mention of fast track either? Didn't see it on first glance could be wrong tho

Thought that myself. Maybe it’s to give them more time to get through the 1710 Merit list.

Why you think that? Looks similar to 17/10

I don’t think fast track was ever mention at the start of the last campaign, was it

It’s the processing of AC I think the takes up a lot of time, understandably of course.

Wish everyone the best anyway, it’s IST I think is the worst part of the process lol might attempt again myself

I heard a lot of people talking about fast track last year but I never asked so i’ll ask now: What is fast track and how do you qualify for it?

Getting an above average AC score

People who scored very highly in the AC were processed through the remaining stages of the recruitment process before results had even been issued. This helped to significantly speed up the process and get people in GV.

There is a few things online if you search and there are things mentioned in here I think. My advise is keep stabbing in the dark as that's how I felt when I did it. So many right answers that could be wrong.

    Hey everyone

Marrick999 here, was unsuccessful in the last recruitment campaign, looking forward to giving the new one a shot. Must've read all of the recruitment posts from the last campaign but thought I'd get a little more out there and make myself an account this time around. Best of luck to everyone :)

Since we’re only a couple of days away from the campaign starting I think we should get some chat going on this thread. What attracts you to a career in policing? Is it the cliche “make a difference in your community” or is it because you’ve watched too much Hawaii Five-0 lol ?

For me I’ve grown up with a number of family members in the police and since I was little it’s always something I’ve wanted to do.Although most people say it, I want to help bridge communities together and make this country a better place.

Looks like they’re looking for 400+ Officers in this campaign. Reasonable amount considering it’s just under a year from the last recruitment drive.

Currently have passed everything in the current campaign, but worried that they won’t reach me on the merit list, so have applied for this new one as well.

Don’t think calls for nov are done yet, they will almost certainly do further intakes until the new list is ready to get feet on the ground which they definitely need. Keep positive :)
