My charger connector is very loose. It's very hard to make it connect correctly.

5.0.3 is out apparently. Can't seem to get it through the usual method of vpn change to Germany or Canada.
Will just wait for roll out

Face unlock has been added to the OP3 and OP3T using the latest update.

Works like a charm I have to say!

Actually, doesn't seem to be working correctly, if I point the camera away from my face, I can still unlock the phone by swiping up (without entering a code) and it still unlocks, anyone getting this?

    Am I missing a setting?

You probably have at least one of the other smart lock features turned on.

Trusted Face (by Google) has been available. Face Unlock (by Oneplus) is new.

Face Unlock is supposedly faster and more secure.

I reckon my phone must be wonky. Every time I pick it up I have to change the display 'sleep' option to 30 minutes, but It always automatically goes back to 39 seconds. Has me stumped. I even thought I had sorted it in developer mode but no

New 5.0.4 update is available on Oxygen Updater

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arjanvlek.oxygenupdater

I would recommend to download the full Rom and flash it in recovery.
Wipe cache in recovery and you're good to go ;)

Jez, really! Delighted with that, very unexpected.

    Where did you hear that?

Anyone had any problems since the most recent update with the screen turning off randomly?

I've checked display screen off settings/pocket mode etc and everything is in order but sometimes I'll be staring right at the screen and it'll just turn off. A power button click brings it back on no bother

I use an app for exercise on my indoor trainer but I'm having issues with sweat beads hitting function commands on the screen, stopping app etc etc.

Is there a setting on the OP3 that will allow the app to be active but locked as such in a similar way you can lock the screen playing back videos?

Edit : screen pinning, anyone used this function?

Is my Oneplus 3 a dud?? Really getting fed up with it. Basically any app that needs to run in the background gets stopped

    1. Onedrive. I have photo backup set to upload while charging and only on WiFi, but I have to open the app or else it won't start to backup my photos. Hadn't opened it in awhile and after a few minutes, it said 1 of 360 being backed up, hadn't done any since May.
    2. Adverts/ebay etc. I will never get notified of messages or search alerts unless I open the app. Its not blocked , have notifications allowed. WhatsApp is fine alway get messages from it.
    3. Alarms. No alarm app will work and I've downloaded loads, the alarm just won't trigger. If I set it for say 5 minutes time, go out of the app and it will trigger, but 7-8 hours away, it just won't trigger the alarm. Cannot use my phone for alarms any more, which is a pain.

Probably many more, basically no background app will run. Worst thing is, I love the phone, had a 1+1 then a 1+2 and never any of these issues. Battery is great, screen, camera, all brilliant. Does anyone know why this could be happening?

I'm assuming that you have done a full factory reset already?

Mine has been acting up the last couple of days draining quickly and getting hot behind the camera. Cleared the cache in recovery and cleared Google play services. Notice today that face unlock was giving a lot of battery. Might disable for a few days to see.
    Not installed anything unusual lately

Yes, normally do one with each update.
Is this a recent thing or has it always been like that?

Always since I've had it, about 2 years now, bought it secondhand.
Don't really expect anyone to have an answer, I've search the net and every setting, no answer and no one with a similar problem.
Still a great phone, just little annoyances, thinking on the F1 after the guinea pigs do the product QA :)
