Anyone having issues with headphones in when you answer calls? I can hear the other person speaking but they get a weird buzzing noise and can't hear me

I avoided the last update based on the comments here but today update 5.0.1 is being offered again. Anyone pull the trigger on this one, any feedback?

I updated to it before the last OTA was withdrawn. No issues at all. I didn't get that Google Play App scan problem and the battery life seems better.

Anyone tried a battery replacement? Any recommendations where to get it done?

Via OnePlus direct. The phone has a 2 yr warranty. If there is a battery issue then they will replace it free of charge.

Anyone else having Bluetooth issues since the latest update?
Every couple of days I need to reboot the phone for the Bluetooth to work properly in the car.
Won't answer a call or can't hear through the kit.
Listening to music or podcasts is at a faster speed.
    Reboot resolves it

Have exactly this issue, bar the faster speed playback. Anyone see any fixes other than a reboot because that doesn't work for me :(

Unfortunately after a quick Google it seems ****ty Bluetooth is par for the course with the OP3 and OP3T :(

Anybody having issues with 2.4g WiFi speed on their 3T?
Over the last 2 weeks it has been desperate. It's not the network itself as I have tested with my work Samsung A5 and housemates Xiaomi on both home and work network and getting 40mb+ on those but only getting 2mb or less on the 3T.

    Any ideas?

For timer alarms on the 3T vibrate doesn't seem to work at all, only sound and I have the phone settings on silent anyway.

Had a look in the alarm settings and vibrate is selected but doesn't seem to come on.
    Any suggestions?

Vibrate on fingerprint unlock on the 3 appears to have disappeared for me.

Just been contacted by my bank. My card has been cancelled because of potential compromise. Looks like card companies are getting out in front of the OnePlus payment hack. I hadn't noticed anything odd on my account so this seems to be preventative on behalf of my bank. Has anyone else been contacted?

Contacted too. Unbelievably bad press for OnePlus again. Just really shows poor quality customer service in my opinion. If stuff like that is happening you are cutting costs somewhere along the way. OnePlus is being slated on Reddit by guys saying to boycott the company until they get their act together. I really like the OnePlus phones I have got but they appear to really be pissing lads off!

It's just so frustrating. OnePlus nail the hardware and price, so you put up with invitations, products sold out, bad updates etc. But I am getting fed up of them. No bank card for a week!

Cracked my tempered screen protector and I see OnePlus have discontinued making ones for the 3t. What's the best alternative now as the OnePlus one is the business? I remember when looking at which one to buy all the other ones seemed to have issues which how they sat on the screen. Hate the way OnePlus abandon even accessories for older phones.

I use the orzly full screen protector, the one with the coloured band top and bottom. I put it on with the case on the phone to line it up and then run a knitting needle under the lip of the case to lift it up over the protector edge and have never had a problem with it popping off. The first time I tried I did it protector first, then case like I did with protectors on my Sony and that did cause it to pop off.

Anyone having problems connecting to data services when roaming (UK) with the One Plus 3T, I've had no joy despite talking to customer services etc, I think it's either the Sim or phone. Anyone else have similar problems?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,613 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

Phone is no longer charging through my PC tower the last couple days, but still is when charging through the normal socket charger. OnePlus 3T.

    Random one.

Yeah I had a major problem with that recently. Starting before Christmas, it would only properly focus maybe 1 time out of 20. I had a cracked screen anyway so sent the phone back for screen replacement and they sorted the focus issue. Was very impressed with how quickly they did the repair and got the phone back to me.
