No, my 3T is working well
The only thing that wasn't working properly was Google messenger.
I had to uninstall it because i wasn't getting any notification when I received a message.
Went back to the stock messenger app.

Funnily enough it's TrainerRoad app for cycling that seems to kill my Bluetooth straight away

Edit: rebooted in safe mode, Bluetooth appears to be working

That's gas, same for me, can the phone function as regards wifi etc in safe mode?

Did you try to wipe the cache after update

    Power off
Hold Volume down button and power key
    Select English
    Wipe Cache

Yeah, tried the above, no joy. It's really odd.

I am sorry to hear you've been experiencing problems with the Bluetooth connection on your OnePlus. After reaching out to OnePlus they were able to confirm that this is a problem with the new software update on the One Plus 3 and 3T. Supposedly this bug occurs specifically with any app which utilizes ANT+ services, which is why you're experiencing problems with TrainerRoad.

Based on our talks with the support team at OnePlus, it sounds like their developers are working hard on getting things fixed. We're not quite sure when that'll get taken care of, but in the meantime, here is a temporary workaround which we have discovered:
Since ANT+ seems to be the source of the problem, you can go into your Google Play Store and manually remove the ANT+ Plugins and ANT Radio Service.

This will fix the Bluetooth side of things, however, ANT+ is unfortunately completely bugged. If you still need to use of ANT+ to train, then you will need to look run TR on a different platform (Mac, Windows, iOS or a different Android device) or into reverting your software back an earlier version. The OnePlus support team has confirmed that reverting your operating system is available by contacting them directly.

I am really sorry that I don't have better news for you but please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I'll do my best to help you out!

This worked for me! @Dahat worth a try?

Anyone else got camera focus issues and pictures being slightly blurry?

    Another 8.0 related issue!

I wonder are people having these issues on the 3 or the 3T?

I updated my 3 a few weeks ago to oreo, battery life has improved for me and have had 0 issues.

Didn't even have to reset after the update.

I have a 3 and updated the day the update was released. I initially had very poor battery performance and cell standby seemed to be the culprit. I cleared the cache via recovery and also the cache in Google Play Services. After a week the battery life improved a lot and I think it's as good as it was in Nougat if not slightly better. Currently on 74% after unplugging 5h 41m ago and 1h 20m screen on time. Apps wise, I haven't had a single issue.

For those who bought Dash Chargers in AliExpress (only bought the cables before) how was it? I was thinking to double up my chargers. Does it charge like the original dash chargers from OnePlus?

I got one from AliExpress and it works exact same as one supplied with phone.

yea i think it's always good to factory reset when upgrading to another Version of Android. Just make sure you copied all your important files to the computer and just transfer them back after the reset ;)

    Congrats! Enjoy Oreo :D

I updated a few days ago after waiting a few days after the update initially arrived. Have had zero issues whatsoever. Battery life is actually marginally better than on the previous version.

I have two complaints relating to the Quick Settings though:
    1. They've changed the Mobile Data toggle switch to a simple on off toggle now. On the previous version touching it opened up a little window with the toggle switch and a counter of how much data you'd used. That was dead handy, and I'm a bit peeved that's gone.
    2. They've changed the Battery Saver quick setting. If you swipe down twice, you can no longer see the battery percent on the battery icon. You've to swipe up again to see it. That's slightly annoying.

Other than that, it's been plain sailing for me. Looks like I got lucky. (OP3 btw)

If you long press those icons it will bring you to their respective settings where you get more information on them.

The recent Oreo update for oneplus 3 has apparently been withdrawn but without any public acknowledgement by the company. A replacement is expected but not known when. Things are looking less optimistic for the future of this brand.

unsure about that. They usually post when a build is withdrawn, and they still have the latest build available for download on their website. Got a link to where you saw it?
