Had a family gathering last night and one of the kids had a Switch, first time I got to see and hold one in the open, I must say I was very impressed with the overall quality of the build and messed around with Zelda for a few minutes, I was going to wait a few more months till more games came out, but ended putting in an order with Amazon for one this morning, think I am going to go all digital with it.

I have my PayPal linked to my switch.

My niece and nephew are both getting a switch for Xmas.

I want to buy them both a game on Xmas day but will I be able to use my PayPal account on both of their consoles if it's already linked to my switch?

EDIT - or is there any websites that I can buy a gift card from for the store on the switch and who email the code right away?

    Thanks

You should be able to use your PayPal account. Don't save your details when prompted.

You can also buy a gift card in GameStop (I think they have €25, €50 and €100).

Well after updates and patches, sure. Not even sure you need those, but yes.

Mostly yes. LA Noire and WWE 2k18 require downloads before you can play I think. And if you have a low tolerance for poor voice acting you will require the language patch for Xenoblade to stay sane.

Think that's grand on the cart without any install.

Tiny update available when I put it in for first time. Gives the option to play without it though it memory serves.

Yeah, but you need the update to play online I think.

Picked up "Heroes of Monkey Tavern" on SA eshop for about 3.50.

    Got great reviews on Steam.

A dungeon crawler in the vein of Dungeon Master or Eye of the Beholder

I wasn't a fan of the demo, picked up Tiny Metal, Tiny Troopers & Hammerwatch (on Norwegian store) to add to my collection of games I'll probably never get to fully play!

I think I will be giving up on Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It's possible it gets good at some point, but after 9 hours of boredom and drudgery, I'm not willing to put any more time in.

I imagine tomorrow will bring unbridled delight to posters here and some modicum of frustration to their children, as they have to wait for their go.

I've got one brother and my parents, but I suppose I will get the most play time anyways.

I wasn't really sure where to put this but I'd been looking at some Overwatch figures and came across this Link Nendoroid.

GOOD SMILE COMPANY G90297 "Nendoroid Link Breath of the Wild Ver" Figure https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MZF56ZY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_oDaqAb8ZS2YM0

All gifts wrapped, I'm off to pass out while playing Breath of the Wild in bed.

That sounds like the name of a grown ups movie.

    Happy Christmas everyone!

Exchanged presents with the better half earlier, BoTW now mine. So I’ve got MK8, SMO, Mario Rabbids and how BoTW and that’s not even mentioning the PC/PS4. I may never see daylight again.

Just about to venture up into the attic and magic up some presents for the other half to wrap. I never did put the Switch back in its box for either. :D

Happy Christmas Nintendo lovers! Hopefully the missus got me a switch game I can play after I collect the rest of my power moons!
P.s. Anyone who gave up on mario after the main campaign need to go back ASAP, best game I've played since galaxy hands down.
Sligeach, a special happy Christmas to you, I hope you open that switch and enjoy if for the special Nintendo fan you are xxx.

Merry Christmas Boardsies. Still a long way to go before I can rest tonight but in about 8 hours time my eldest will finally be in the Fold properly with her own hardware. I hope she won't find my chanting of "one of us one of us" ruins Christmas too much.

    More Nog!

New Switch in charging, software updated, Mario Odyssey downloaded, BoTW and Lego Undercover queued up.
It's for the son says I to the wife dearest. Nope, I'm not a +40 year old man excited like a wain on a literal Christmas Eve.
    Happy Christmas all.
