Come on folks, let's keep the tone pleasant.

Thank god for Sony, thank god for Microsoft and thank god for Nintendo.

I don't think some of your realise the implications of having only one manufacturer, i.e. a lack of competition.

When I trade it in, Sony may lose a sale to someone who actually might have an interest in their own games, which gives me a bit of pleasure.

That's very childish and makes zero sense, since you have already given them the sale.

LA Noire is down to 30 in Smyths at the moment, which seems okay if you don't need to buy a memory card on top of that. I don't quite have the room so I declined. Will wait until I have the bigger card.

It's not that great and I'd think it'll be reduced further anyway.

So do I, which is another reason why I'm hesitant on it. I'm enjoying Skyrim at the moment anyway. I've forgotten how much there is to do in this game.

I'm enjoying it I have to say. Played it years ago on 360 but got nowhere near finishing it. Glad to get another go at it.
It handles pretty well on Switch. Only had a few moments of slowdown while playing the game and thats after about 5 hours of gameplay.

I see that Cuphead is now out on iOS. Microsoft have released the shackles and it's no longer a PC/Xbox exclusive.

    https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1324520240

I think that gives hope to a Switch version in the future (which would be a PERFECT home for it). :)

Edit: it's a scam and not an official release. Boo!

Any PC will run it though as it's running fine on my Surface.

Strange that Cuphead's not available on PS4, for some reason.

Not really seeing as Microsoft backed the project. The developer has said that a Mac and Linux version may be released though.

It'll play on any old PC/Laptop so if you have access to one it's well worth playing.

It specifically asks you if you want to remember your credit card details or not, so you can use your card and just say no.

I've one at my disposal, so I might get it when I've got €20, or maybe during the winter sales.

Good ol Nintendo! Makes a change from Microsofts add a card or f**k off stance :pac:

This day next week eeeeeeeeeee :D

My parents disallow me from remembering the credit card info, knowing they realised that I forked out €40 on Dark Souls 2 back in May of last year. However, they seemed to forget that I informed them that I was going to add funds on Steam in the first place. Anyways, they're right, since I can't accidentally fork out money on something without permission.

When the conversation continually comes back to one poster and what they think I'd say it's job done in their eyes whether they own a switch or not.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

So, went to see The Last Jedi yesterday. Loved it.

On a bit of a Star Wars buzz, any SW games on the old Switch, do yis know?

Actually, any SW games without the word "Lego" in the name? I tried real hard to love the other Lego ones, but I just can't. Such hard work.

    Thanks a million.

Nope, and that new Star Wars battlefront on the other consoles, but its ****.

We've got no time for lootboxes and all that **** like having to grind hours to unlock the iconic characters like Darth Vader without forking out on microtransactions.

Sawit at the weekend too. I'd have to watch again to assess it as a film but I was grinning for nearly 3 hours straight.

Fingers crossed for some Rogue Squadron VC Christmas miracles

I'll have to watch it again over the next week or two. I need to confirm if it was as good as I thought it was. I couldn't quite believe it.

I'll be getting out the old Cube over the next few days, one way or another I'll be playing Rogue Squadron this week.

That's the one that Game Sack pointed out for pushing the GC's limits.

Well, I have mine about a week or so and absolutely love it!

For me, it's a different type of gaming. It's for kicking back on the couch and chilling out when you get time to enjoy a softer side of gaming. The games are more chilled out for me and I enjoy a break from pvp stuff now and then.

I bought the new Xbox One X on day release and while I enjoy that also, it's a different type of enjoyment, although Wolfenstein 2 is a fantastic treat on it.

I'm guessing if people don't 'get' what the Switch is all about, then it probably wasn't the right decision to buy in the first place.

I'm not trying to start a console bashing session but it's nice to have Nintendo back in my gaming life again. It's been a long time. :)

Really enjoying my switch and the only problem I can find with it is the endless amount of compulsive purchases you start on as soon as you get it! :D I can honestly say that it's the first console ever that I've bought a spare power supply for :o

Waiting on the postman is worse than waiting on santa :)

Me and my buddies got the new battlefront on sale for €35 the other day. The loot boxes are not a problem.

I enjoy loot boxes on games like cod4 remastered and rocket league too.

As Nintendo fans we can't exactly take the moral high ground as we've had to put with Nintendo locking content behind amiibos.

Any the game is epic and it's like playing the films at times. And I don't even have a 4k TV.

Can't wait to watch the new film. All feedback including here has been so positive.

    .

The **** we can't, says Banjo as he pays a fixed price to unlock guaranteed content, then unlocks the same guaranteed content for 2 guys at work and his brother in law for free before placing the Amiibo in a display case to be the envy of all.
