Apparently he missed treatment and a workout also which is a big no no for most teams. What a dumb ass for missing simple things in work.

Jason LaConfora of CBS reporting that Gary Kubiak would consider a return to the league in 2018 as offensive coordinator. There was no mention of wanting a head coaching job, just wants to be an OC

I’m hoping the Ravens pay him anything he wants!! Was a superb OC in Baltimore.

Turned Justin Forsett into a pro bowler and Flacco had his highest yardage and passer rating in his career. Whereas now the Ravens have the 32nd ranked passing offense :(

Seems yesterday was the first time Tom Savage has thrown a td for the Texans

I usually plan my NFL watching days/weeks in advance. I understand why they do it, but having a game flexed to 1am Irish time is still incredibly frustrating. It always annoys me no-end.

To nobody’s great surprise Mike Evans suspended for one week for his cheap shot in the Saints game

    Proper order

No suspensions for AJ Green or Jalen Ramsey or does getting ejected carry a suspension or does the ejection count as the suspension on the day. NFL rules not very clear about that.

Ejection is considered punishment according to Ian Rappaport.

Ramsey and Green hardly deserve the same level of punishment given what transpired. Green should have seen a suspension.

Yeah Ramsey got really, really hard done by. A pretty strong shove in retaliation but that's not anything more than a 15 yard penalty. Green completely and utterly lost his sh** in response. Very, very early to tell but Ramsey has HOF potential written all over him.

And a little late to this one, but I'm 1,000% standing by Wentz being a younger version of Rodgers as I said a few weeks back. He might not ever reach quite the same heights, but he reminds me so much of him that it's uncanny at times, and he's something else to watch. Funny how last year was seen to be a slightly underwhelming QB year and yet here we are with him and Goff ripping the league a new one. I don't think Goff will quite reach that same level as he's more of a 'tidy pocket' type of guy but hats off to what he and McVay have done, I've never seen an offense or QB make such an in improvement in a single season.

I've seen people compare Goff to Brady...

I don't quite see it. He's doing well for sure though, but more in a Kirk Cousins kinda way.

Funny enough, he reminds me of Romo as does Cousins. I'd put Romo as possibly the most underrated QB of the last decade too (or maybe 'conveniently scapegoated' would be a better description than 'underrated' for Romo). All bar about six-eight teams would have loved to have Romo for the last decade or so.

Given how bad they are are managing picks and drafting they should probably pick 2 QB's and hope that one of them turns out okay.

Have they drafted that badly with this front office though?

Did they do that the year they signed manzel?

Passing on Wentz and Watson means they have imo.

Also Coleman looks iffy right now, Peppers is all athlete but zero football IQ. Njoku is a stud potentially but not in an important position.

They were also prepared to trade away the assets the accrued for AJ McCarron...

If I was a qb needy team i'd be asking the Browns which QB they didn't like and i'd be snap drafting that guy. ;)

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 21,828 Mod ✭✭✭✭helimachoptor

yeah, i think the browns are just a really bad organisation, AJ McCarron is not gong to change them, but who would give away that many picks for him is beyond me.

Cousins is obviously an option (an expensive one) but i think their biggest issue is that they just can do the FO stuff correct. Moneyball isn't cutting it.

Steelers/Texans on Christmas Day which definitely isn't getting flexed.

    Jesus Christ.

In fairness it would have been a potential cracker if Watson was healthy.
