Dream. FBI agent. Captured suspect. Alone. Had no cuffs. Suspect kept wandering away. Walked after him. Kept wandering. Called after. Ignored me. Awoke. An agent I am not!

Yo Widdershins & Hugo. Content of day thoughts and feelings. May influence dream content.

In that case, I might be dreaming of boring paperwork tonight so!

I wonder what that all means.

I keep having dreams where I arrive home from work only to find that my boyfriend has packed his bags and left me and no amount of convincing him not to will change his mind.
Also frequent dreams about him trying to kill me. We are very happy, I completely trust him and obviously zero domestic violence in my relationship so I'm very confused.

Also frequent dreams of being in a crashing plane and in a car I'm driving but cannot control but I think those are linked to my anxiety. No idea what the other ones are about but they're really upsetting me.

Had an accident a few weeks back and ever since I have been having a recurring dream where I am back at work but I know I shouldn't be and I am trying to tell people but no one is listening to me! Very vivid dreams they are and I remember the tiniest of details.
Also dreamed last night of having a bad tooth pulled....I hate tooth dreams! :(

See my Dream Theory thread. Can mean something. Nothing. Whatever.

Real life influencing content is some way?

Well it is because it is going to be a long rehabilitation process.
The last one I was only visiting work so maybe the mind is getting a little more accepting.

Hopefully your rehabilitation will go well.

New twist on good old sleep paralysis. I went from being awake, straight into sleep paralysis. I was lying down listening to the sound of the old tv series HANDS in another room, and suddenly found myself paralysed. I could just about move the tip of my tongue but not enough to shout. My tongue and front teeth felt extremely tacky. Like they were coated in the stuff goose grass is coated in. I could still hear HANDS the whole time, but when I snapped out of it, the HANDS music wasn't playing and it probably finished minutes before that. My teeth and tongue felt normal when I was awake.
It's hard to know if I was really asleep.

    Can't imagine sleep paralysis.

I find it hard to describe, others have described it really well but I can't. But it has a few common variations. Some people feel like there's someone sitting on their chest, but I've never had that.

How are your exam stress dreams going, have they stopped or still happening?

Recurrent dream. FBI agent. Profiling job. Scanning datasets. Standing before wall display. Looking for patterns. Watching Beautiful Mind DVD followed me to sleep.

Had a weird dream with a very foreboding vibe to it.

I was in my parents living room with the family and my uncle was there. Everyone was having a good time when suddenly my uncle says that this house is cursed. Everyone suddenly stopped talking and was looking down. My uncle pointed to a painting on the wall. The painting had what appeared to be the silhouette of an elephant walking in a marsh. I said that I didn't understand, to which he replied to look closer. Suddenly I was in the landscape of the painting, along with my uncle. There were lots of assault rifles of various types scattered all over the ground. I asked who they belonged to. He said that those people aren't here anymore and that "He" took them (like referring to someone else". He pulled out a can of silver spray paint and marked all of the guns so that "I'd recognise them in the next painting". He tend made me walk ahead of him through the marsh, occasionally shoving me forward when I stopped in apprehension. We marched from the marsh into some sort of sand dunes. From the dunes we walked along a highway into a small town. Then the dream went in a different direction.

Had a really weird one a couple of nights ago. In the dream I was driving down a street I probably drive down a couple of times every day but on this occasion it was deserted. Deserted except for a few bodies scattered across the lanes. The bodies were wrapped in blankets but charred. Since the dream every time I drive there I've thought of it :(

I don't remember what my dreams were about over the last three nights, but somehow I feel like they're haunting me. It's like trying to remember a word that you know and it's at the tip of your tongue but it keeps eluding you.

    Dream imagery can be pervasive.

Haunting. That's my feeling now. Can't remember.

Cool Hugo. You caused an elephant daydream. After reading your dream. It was then time to get playful.

In a dream, my house looked different, distressingly so, and I had broken windows with small square panes stuffed with net curtain. Then opened a door and discovered there was an elderly-ish woman living in a room of the house and she was not happy about the music (even though there was no music in the dream). I actually apologised to her in a grovelling manner, closed the door and tiptoed around quietly and uncomfortably.

Had similar dream. Recently. Came home. All our furniture was gone. Windows broken. Moving trash on floor.

Dream. Clinical reference lab waiting room. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. My name never called. While others kept passing me by and getting their tests done.

I can only remember a snippet of a dream from last night.

In it, this old man was out in a beautiful forest and he was smearing this sort of gloopy golden oil all over his body in front of a movie camera. I appeared to be only observing in the dream. An angry mob appeared and pleaded with him to stop it as the oil is dripping off of him and seeping into the ground, and that this is killing the planet. He angrily told them to **** off and that he will continue. The mob swarmed him, knocked him to the ground and beat him badly.

    That's all I can remember.

I dreamt a man was trying to kill me with his bare hands. I can't remember why that was so important to him, but it was. I had locked myself behind this enormous mahogany door with plenty of deadbolts (including an iron bar that locked into the floor and ceiling) and he had unrolled a toolkit and was cutting a hole in the door so that he could access the locks from outside. While he was reaching behind him for another tool I grabbed the first thing I could touch - his massive electric drill - and ran into the apartment and hid in the doorway to the kitchen.

He got inside, started down the corridor, and panicked out of my mind I jumped out, turned on the drill and stabbed him with it below the shoulder. It felt so easy it shocked me, just slid in like it was drilling through butter. I pulled it out but he didn't fall down. Instead he was even angrier than before and lunged at me, so I stabbed him with it again. Still didn't fall or even stumble. Frightened out of my mind, I slid it into him again and again and until I woke up.

    So horrifying. *shudder*
