On 4.1.6, no issue for me. Over an hour screen time and about 80% battery left.

There was drain in 4.1.5 but the latest version improved it.

For anyone looking for the car charger, it's back in stock on Irish store now.

I've had 1hr 15 Mins of screen on for about 4 hours and I've lost 34% battery. From 90% down to 56%. Google Play Services has had the greatest comeback since Lazarus and is currently sitting irritatingly at the top of the table. Think I'll have to Google and do the cache partition wipe that I've heard about.

no changes on battery life on mine since the update. Getting 4-5 hours screen on time as per usual. Not using Facebook and Snapchat could make my battery longer but there's fast charge so no complains there.

Regarding Op5 i think i'll stick with my Op3 since there's not much of an update also the price increase for me isn't justifiable. OP3 is still blazing fast

I was hoping for much more from Op5 myself and looks like I'll definitely be sticking with the 3T. If the camera was way better I'd only then consider switching, but looks like that's not the case at all.

OP5 is overpriced compared to the OP3t imo. too much of a price jump for what is being offered.

Sticking with my Op3 also, can't justify the update. Seemed like a pretty lack luster launch tbh.

Yep. Didn't like the look of it vs the price so picked up a 3T, which I received yesterday. :)
Any suggestions on where to get spare usb C cables?

One plus one screen touch beginning to act up so was looking at purchasing a One Plus 3t. None available on the One plus Ireland or UK sites and some available on Amazon. Saw some for sale on adverts but don't have the cash so buying on CC.
Where is the best place online to purchase at decent prices
    Cheers

That's a review of the site, not the product. AliExpress is fine. People buy from it without any problems all the time.

Found this phone on Geekbuying and great price
    http://www.geekbuying.com/item/ONEPLUS-3T-A3010--6GB-128GB-Smartphone---Gunmetal-374732.html
Anyone bought phone from here and does this work on the Irish Network as it states the below
    This phone will only work with 2G:GSM 850 /900 /1800/ 1900MHz  3G: WCDMA B1/2/5/8  4G: FDD-LTE B1/3/5/7/8
I asked Three and they cannot guarantee it
Then checked and got this from http://willmyphonework.net/
    900MHz, 1800MHz
    2100MHz
    Band20-800MHz, Band3-1800MHz

    So should it work?

That's dearer than Oneplus were selling them for. The "reg price" they have listed is just something they've plucked out of thing air. You'd be better off getting the Oneplus 5 for the same price direct from OP.

Forgot about customs but looking at the site it's about €420 and can't find any cheaper other than buying privately

Anyway around custom charge or is it pot luck

It would be around 450 with cross border fees and such.
And probably over another 110 if customs charge you.
And yes it is a gamble but shur you wouldn't be trying to dodge paying your taxes now would you?:D :pac:

For anyone who has battery drain on 4.1.6, I disabled and re-enabled Google services framework and cleared the cache partition in recovery mode and battery is back to normal.

I tried all of the other fixes online and that was what worked after a few days of a hot phone and ridiculous battery drain and short screen time. Not sure which of those 2 was the fix but I suspect the latter. A strange thing I noticed, the battery wasn't draining overnight and when not in use, it was only while in use. Also, top of the battery stats wasn't "Google play services" as most of the fixes were for, it just said "Google services" which isn't in the stats now, it's been replaced by "Google play services" but seems to be the same thing.

Tried this but made no difference unfortunately....phone gets quite hot when just browsing the web! And the battery is shocking...

    How do you do this...?

First of all turn off your phone. and get into recovery menu.
Now, to get into recovery menu. Press Volume Down + Power Button. And keep on holding the buttons till you get into recovery menu.
    Select Language.
Use volume buttons to navigate to Clear Cache/Data. and use power button to select this option.
Now you will see two separate options, One will clear cache of your OnePlus 3 other one will delete all the data present in your phone.
    Select Wipe Cache Option.
    Reboot your phone.
