    I'd forgotten about this - for a character that's only in it for all of five minutes it's a very poignant scene and sums up the entire franchise perfectly

    Sad ones for me would include:

    Cillian Murphy execution in The Wind That Shakes The Barley.
    Also that soldiers who runs (like the wind) to his certain death at the end of Galipoli.

    A really disturbing one was a movie I can't remember the name of but Ewen Bremner gets shot in the back of the head. He doesn't die straight away but he starts screaming knowing that he's dying. It was harrowing.

    Wade in Saving Private Ryan. It's sad, undignified, pathetic, and almost unwatchable.



    I wouldn't be surprised if it had been inspired by the death of Cowboy in Full Metal Jacket.
