Presume it's been said already, but there is one winner in this thread. Roy Batty in Blade Runner. One of the great monologues in film history...

I've seen things...you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion...

    Roy Batty in Blade Runner.

Ah...Harry knows films. It's the beginning, middle and end of this thread. Nothing comes close.

A few, The Shark and Robert Shaw in Jaws for different reasons. Harry Lime/Orson Welles in The Third Man as he really deserved it.

The Raiders of the Lost Ark and Last Crusade deaths are great. Braveheart death only good as it meant the film was over. Absolute tosh

Wouldn't really say the "best death" but the story and death of Tommy in Trainspotting was very moving and sad.

That knife to the heart death in Saving Private Ryan stayed with me for ages afterwards, especially with Popham down the bottom of the stairs.

Benicio del Toro getting dragged into the grinder in Licence to Kill is another death that freaked me out as a kid.

I remember an animated film in the 80's of a puppy and his/her mother. Someone shot the mother, and the film was about the adventure of the pups life. They showed it in school and all the girls were bawling, the boys were trying their best not to!!!

I can even remember the music, but I cant remember the name. Anyone able to help me out?
