Eh? Beat to death and bury alive?

Several of the deaths in The Thing are amazing for their magnificent ghastliness.

    Cleric Brandt in Equilibrium.

He was built up so much, too bad his fight lasted a few seconds, but what a way to go!

At 0:10 - how did he not see the two lads that pop out right behind him? They would have literally been directly to the left and right of him!?!?

The kitchen fight scene in The Raid 2 was unbelievably good with a great death scene. For anyone who has not seen The Raid films i highly recommended them.

Death of a Superhero. You knew it was coming... but you're not prepared for it when it does. It goes beyond sad and left me feeling numb and empty for days. Fantastic movie!

Agreed, I absolutely love that movie.

Interesting fact, Cecep Arif Rahman (the bad guy in that scene) was a primary school english teacher in his native Indonesia when he was asked to be in this movie due to his martial arts background and skill with a Kerambit (the knives used in this scene)

There is a clip on youtube of him in Dublin last year training students in the martial art Pencak Silat, really nice guy by all accounts.

The fight scene immediately before the good guy walks into the kitchen, where he fights the guy with the metal bat and the girl with the 2 hammers, is equally brutal.

He saw them. He just didn't care.

For seven lads slashed to death..not much blood
