Will be interesting to see if they do bother to reply! Says a lot of they don't I think! you didn't ask anything bad! To be honest I have my doubts that makeup fairy drinks it either. Have never seen her make it and you would imagine she would have at least once to show that strainer thing or whatever it's called!! (I don't drink tea at all!!!)

On her snaps didnt she say she has new exciting news about the skinny tea brand....its crazy she only seems to promote it and do discount codes without ever actually showing if she drinks it...i mean she post vitamin pics and her meal prep pics....even if she took a pic of tea and then gave discount codes...you know..actually promote it. But the most annoying thing is i have amazing news/project but i cant talk about it...buts its amazing...but im not allowed say what it is.............please say nothing till it happens..lol.

I was just about to say that haha. She is building up some exciting news that requires her to travel even more, but sorry to be cynical, but how is that exciting for us? I know I'm so cynical, but like she's saying she loves traveling and it's part of her thing now, but going to London isn't really travelling. You may as well be going to Cork.

Whats wrong with cork?? Lol

Her snapchat is like fluff with bits of fitness and horses thrown in...far from what she done a few years ago....didnt she do wedding makeup and demos all over..she seems to have distanced herself from that....that and giving about being sick...... Like all the vit and supplement shes popping ........and she did say if her trip to the horseshow event was sponsered.ie where her flights payed for?was this a freebie?

There's absolutely no way make up fairy is drinking that tea. Not with her fitness regimen. The tea basically makes you **** yourself. The rebel lipstick has a very entertaining blog post about it :pac:

It seems that all of the Makeup Artists bloggers have really veered away from it. I mean apart from the makeup brushes she released before Christmas, there has been nothing makeup related in years. Defeats the purpose of the name Makeup Fairy. Same with Facesbygrace. It's all just ads for supplements, meat, tea and tv's and a few free makeup products been thrown at them that never see the light of day after one snap.

I don't think the horse show was specifically an ad as it was sponsored by her equestrian club for personal reasons, as far as I'm aware. Still though, I originally followed her YEARS ago because she was a curvy model and a makeup artist and occasionally made YouTube videos. It was refreshing. Now her blog/Instagram/snapchat is just her either in the gym, on a plane, showing off her stomach, showing her gym gear or selling stuff on droop she wore once.

Totally agree. I follow Tara makeup, who used to show makeovers all the time and make up related posts. Now all her content is #ad for x,y, and z. I'm on the verge of unfollowing her.

I actually at the time thought she had bought the tv for her mum as that's exactly what she led everyone to believe. Same here and loads of examples before and since. I think i have a major issue with her as she's one of the most vocal about how she always discloses.

Same here when she did that with the currys tv that was it for me I started noticing all the other bloggers promoting things and found myself questioning them.
Grace is the worst offender even the other day with the marker hotel.

Are actually doing themselves damage imo using some of these bloggers.

Just Jordan is not doing herself any favours lately she has to be getting that ring for free to promote that company and not one mention of it being sponsored.

Gone are the days of the majority of bloggers just blogging for fun. Now it's all ads and promotions and 'look at how great my life is'.

That's all well and fine and trust me there are people who like that stuff, but they all can't really be pissed when we question them when all they do is post ads. I mean, they can't have it both ways. It's all become too slimy and dodgy and really unethical. But hey, anything for a quick buck?

Here's what i would like to know is it not basically lying to the consumer that A) they have brand ambassadors who don't use their products yet are promoting it and

the ambassadors are making ridiculous claims that you can lose 5lb in a week.

That's all false advertising and should be reported as such to the relevant authorities.
The amount of things these companies get away with in this country is amazing..

I'll tell you if I owned Snapchat and realised anyone with a big following used my platform for advertising I'd want a percentage there's more ads on that than on television and most of it comes from Ireland lol.

I think it was yesterday when she was feeling unwell she had a snap up of herself in bed with the duvet pulled off, showing off her bra and stomach with the caption "not a well bunny". I mean even when she's sick she doesn't stop with the snaps showing off her body. Seriously mind-boggling and attention-seeking behaviour.

Karen from Lovelygirlybits did a series of snaps this morning. She said she had been sent makeup products yesterday and she gave her first impressions as she got ready for work. She said she'll try them another 4 or 5 times before she reports back.

Now isn't that what a blogger should be? IMO they all need to get back to basics. Karen was still promoting the brand but did the work behind it to give feedback

Omg STOP. When I seen that snap I literally received second hand cringe.
I mean fair play, she works incredibly hard for her body, but she's supposed to be sick. When I'm sick I don't even want to look at myself in the mirror haha, let alone lay in bed snapping myself in a pose that shows my body off to tell everyone I'm sick.

That's so cringey and soooo attention seeking. Regarding what you're saying about her working incredibly hard for her body, I agree she has made a transformation .However, she's definitely still doing some serious serious photoshopping as far as I can see. Look at the pic she put up on her instagram of her attending the Renault Belgard event recently. Then look at the photos of her on Renault Belgards Facebook page .Definitely not the same physiques!

I see that So Sue Me has used #spon on a blog post! Must be the first time I've ever seen her declare something! It's in relation to her brand ambassador role with Cluse watches. Cluse must have requested bloggers to write using #TimeToLoveMe as Retro Flame's post last week was along the same vibe. Personally I preferred Retro Flame's post, it was more about how to love yourself and I think the post would apply to readers both single or in a relationship. Sue's was more about getting through Valentine's day when you are single. I suppose each blogger can interpret the hashtag in their own way.

I noticed that too. Looked on her site and she's put ad in the title of the blogpost, so at least that's something. Should be everywhere though. A lot of people just look on social media and don't open the full blogposts. I don't see how it's that hard to be consistent?

I was really impressed with Sharon Leavy yesterday on Snapchat. She got sent some craft sets for free for her children. She showed the sets, showed her kids playing with them, but said she wouldn't be buying them herself and, as such, she wouldn't give out the code they gave her. She even showed people the website in the subsequent snaps so if they wanted to buy it themselves they could. Thought it was really honest and decent.

She also showed the contents of a subscription beauty box like Glossybox but clearly said that she had bought it herself. Its nice to see when some bloggers can afford to buy a product themselves to give a proper review of it and they want to try it out themselves, rather than trying to get a freebie sent to them.

I don't really get the love for Retro Flame. She didn't declare it was an ad until the very end, and it was really unclear – "thanks to Cluse for collaborating" could just mean she got sent a watch, but we can definitely assume she was paid as Anouska was.

I thought it was 2! Foundation and a setting spray don't remember the others! Yea it was 1 a week for January! It's a pity she wouldn't keep it up and maybe buy the things herself or something she has used for a number of months (even if she was sent it) and recommends!

I unfollowed her a few weeks ago; she seems lovely but the promoting was just too much.

JJ had #ad on her snaps today about Fotostore. She said she got so many snaps the last time she collaborated with them she was delighted to be doing so again. Funny thing is, last time she went on and on raving about them for days and never #ad. Her #ad for Boojum tonight were so rushed and lazy, no thought put into them, just ticking the boxes to get the dollar I'd sayðŸ˜‚
Can't wait to see what she says about Moores when she gets the eternity ring, or if tomorrow nights Bella Baby snaps have any #
