I've never found one use for it on the phone or tablet. Double tapping the recent apps button to switch between two apps (like Alt+Tab in Windows) is a godsend in Nougat though.

Could you not just hold down the back button, for about two seconds, to do that before the update?

Whats the best way to transfer everything from my Oneplus one to the 3?

It was always a feature you could select when configuring your buttons alright.

Buttons > Double Tap Action > select "open last used app".

Don't think a triple press is a function?!

Settings --> SIM & network settings --> Under SIM settings, choose 1 or 2 --> Under Network settings, choose Network operators --> Turn off Choose automatically to run a network scan.

    Easy out haha :D

    Hi all.

    I have a 3T.

Is there any way to have the phone in silent mode but still ring loudly when you use the Android "find my phone" service?

This did work for me on my oneplus 2. I simply used the volume buttons to set the ring volume to zero. However, on the 3T I can't use the volume button to get the volume fully down to zero - it stops reducing at a non-zero volume.

Please note that for both the oneplus 2 and the 3T, whenever I had the phone in silent mode using the side slider then neither would ring for the "find my phone".

Alternatively, is there an app that can override the slider silent function in order to find the phone?

    Thanks in advance. Cheers.

Someone has asked me to sign off on this phone before they pulled the trigger.
They like their camera, so not sure after reading some comments here just how bad the camera is. They, like RichieNouveau are coming from a Sammy, think its an S5 but might be an S4. How slow is the camera to focus, are we talking about 1-2 seconds, or 15-20 seconds?

I'm finding the camera a bit **** having come from the S5 :(

Shots are blurrier than I'm used to which has been disappointing.
I love everything about it bar the camera. Have come to realise that I could sacrifice performance without it really being noticeable for my use, so I could get a 2015 flagship with weaker performance but a better camera experience for a similar price.
It hasn't changed at all with the latest update. Still the only daily reminder that it's actually not a high end device.

Is the camera that bad? One of the main reasons I ordered it was the positive reviews of the camera. Guess I'll see in a few days.

Also, on the OnePlus forums, the comments are not much better! Someone saying the camera has disimproved from the OnePlus3 to the OnePlus3t.

As the camera censor is good, surely a software update could solve this....

    Saw that on Android Authority.

I presume the "Android N stable OTA for the OP3" isn't a beta?

I have the update a week or so and have to use United States via Opera VPN to update apps via the Play Store, a minor hassle really for now.

More like 2-3 seconds, which can seem like available eternity in practice. but it also can't seem to hold focus very well, so it could easily go back out of focus even though you're not asking it to change focus.

Are you using an ad blocker or VPN all the time?
I was using block this and it wouldn't let me download apps once I got rid of that it was fine.

Are the OnePlus 3t phones shipped from within Europe when ordered on their site? @ €439 they are a great price but how much will customs stick on top if shipped from outside Europe? I see a few locals selling via Adverts, maybe its cheaper to but from them???

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,206 ✭✭✭Lucas Hood

You can exchange them one for all vouchers for Amazon gift cards as far as I know.
