Just brings up the settings menu on mine

You don't press you hold down on the gear icon(settings button) for a few seconds and then release and then you get a pop up telling about the new settings.

On my OP2 it is not a circle but a battery shape icon with the % inside the battery. Oxygen OS 3.1.0

Ahh, Im on Oxygen OS 3.5.5

Found a How-To thread on the OP3 forums, that OnePlus OGs might appreciate albeit a trivial UI feature.....
the battery percentage in the circle icon

    A shorter guide:
    - Pull down the notification bar
    - Hold down on the settings cog until it spins
    - Release & something should pop up saying something like "You have enabled System UI Tuner etc."
    - Go to settings>System UI Tuner & Tap the button to enable
    - Go to settings>battery & click on the battery icon and voila!

i usually use the percentage sign but might use this from now on

Keep leaving the dash charger behind me. Any good USB C cable I can hook up to a normal USB charger? Read a few things of USB C frying hardware.

What do you folks think would be a fair price to sell a 3T with Otterbox for? About 2 weeks old. Spotless with box and plug/cable.

Did you end up deciding to sell or did you keep it?

I got these Anker ones for my Pixel C and they've been spot on. Sturdy too.

Sorry but would there be anything I could pop in and get tomorrow in shop? Sure I can see what curry's have. They should have something. Thanks

Lads, anymore recomendations for cases or tempered glass screen protectors?

I'm thinking about getting the Orzly tempered glass, but unsureif there is anything better out there?

    The fullscreen one?

They seem to be more reflective than the typical temp. glass ones.

Ive the Nillkin H+Pro .2mm one and it has 3 chips along the edges, I dont know how... it seems to happen to every brand I buy though, it just happened yesterday on an Orzly one on my other phone

    Cheers dead,

Yes, was about to pull the plug on the full screen tempered glass. The new version 2 gets favourable reviews. I thought it would be just as well getting getting a case from the same manufacturer as the fit should be pretty decent

Also, has anyone tried the nilken glass protectors?

    deadanonymau5,
If you don't mind, and have the time, would you be able to add to the VERY FIRST POST OF THIS THREAD the screen protector and protective case that you have.

It would be great not having to search through hundreds of posts to get the best protectors. On the XDA developers website, the first post is always updated with the latest ROM files so people can always find it easily. If this became a culture on this forum for every thread on phones, it would be great.

In an ideal world, other users would post you their screen protectors, protected cases together, and you could quickly copy and paste them to the first post. But that's unlikely to happen, so new users would settle for the ones you have and where you got them!

Nice idea, Horace Cope, though I believe that he can't edit his OP after a number of hours/days/posts. A mod probably could though.

My OP3T arrived today via DHL. Early days, but very happy with it so far. I'm apprehensive of taking it to work before I get a case delivered for it, so I'll continue with my Galaxy for now I think. Knowing my luck, I'd probably drop it!

Case wise, I've ordered a Spigen Neo Hybrid.

I haven't ordered any screen protectors yet, as that seems a minefield! I wouldn't mind having a spare Dash charger and cable too for travelling etc.

I've just kept the sticker it came with on and its been fine so far. I may be wrong, but it seems overkill to have a case like the otterbox/Spigen on the phone and then worry about fitting glass protectors inside of them.

Smashed by screen last week, was hoping it was just the protector (the one that comes with the phone) but when I took it off the screen was destroyed too.

Ah jaysus...sure it's only large bit of sellotape really! It'll only protect it from light scratches.

It's still usable so haven't gotten around to it yet. Was €120 for my OPO when I got it done in store. Second time around I bought a screen and got it fitted came to €80. Third time around I upgraded to OP3!

Has anyone else noticed that the 3T charges really quickly up to around 95%, and then seems to take ages to hit 100%? Getting that last 5% seems to take a good half hour.

Skeptical side of me is wondering if One Plus have falsified the percentage display to make the dash charge appear to charge the phone really fast.

Fast charging on any phone slows down as you near 100% to protect the battery.

I've also read that you should avoid charging to 100% to protect the longevity of the battery. Apparently fully discharging and fully charging is the two most stressful things a user is likely to do with a battery. I tend to unplug mine around the 80% mark unless I have reason to believe I'll need that extra but of juice.

What way did you used to do it on a Samsung? Do you mean clear the apps away in the recents?
