    Bloody hell!

I can't get that "Careless Whisper" tune out of my head now. Even ended up subconsciously whistling it at work...

"...guilty feet have got no rhythm..."

    Argh.

That is a pretty heinous crime.

    Dunno how OT it is,

But some Gaelic Footballer from Donegal is going to train with Clermont Auverne for a few months, and in return Shane Williams is going to train with Donegal GAA. It'll be on RTE's toughest trade.

After the Rubik's cube debacle I though I could even things up with a game of Scrabble. It's the French version but what the hell. 7 year old's first game and she plonks down a 7 letter beast. 9 year throws 'jokers' on a triple word and you better believe these Ks are gold in French. Sitting there with a bag of vowels (Let's play Samoan Scrabble!) and nine points on average a round.

How can I scrape some dignity back?

I destroyed my 9 year old and 7 year old at scrabble on Christmas day.

"You go to school, you're wasting your time losers". "7 points, that's pathetic...your teacher must be a joke"

*wife from kitchen* "for christ's sake they're only kids"

All I know is I have a video on my phone of the bar staff from last night standing on the bar doling out shots of Jäger. I have no recollection of that happening.

It really is a rip off. Talk about having a captive audience. 3 quid for a coffee and a fiver for a slice of plastic style cake. You wouldn't pay it in 3fe...ask molloyjh!!

I tried to install something on an iPad at work.
It asked me for an icloud login.

Ok, don't have one. Google how to do it. Settings, icloud, fill in name... the thing just spins for a minute and comes back to the previous screen. Ten attempts later and I give up and try create an account on the PC. Tedious form filling to create an icloud address, the first question of which is to enter an email address to use for your icloud account.

Except it won't accept icloud.com as the address. What the ****ing ****? How did this abortion of an OS ever get a reputation as easy to use?

I'm assuming you have an Apple account and you're downloading from the App Store? I've never needed more than that. Never been asked for an iCloud login for apps or anything like that. I just set up my Apple account on iTunes and that was it. Admittedly that was years ago though. Have always found iOS on my phone and iPad to be a doddle.
