A visit to Abel Tasman national park in the north west of South Island is a must and then a drive down the west coast passing the pancake rocks and onto the glaciers. Then down to wanaka and my favourite place ever of Queenstown. While there, get a day your to Milford sound or if your not stuck for cash get a heli tour.

I'd retire to Wanaka if money was no object. Just for the scenery and the cinema if nothing else.

The Rose Bowl. USC v Penn State.

Full game on youtube. If you have the time watch it.

Packers @ Cardinals in the playoffs last year was fantastic. Not as high scoring as your game though.

Its online only so real clickbait which has worked considering how wound up some on twitter are about it.....
Dont agree with those points of view expressed by author but should they not be given any form of platform to speak??

Yeah I blame the people who draw attention to pieces like that. Let people speak - if you don't agree with what they say then ignore it. The amount of crap people are being subjected to these days because someone is up in arms with something or other and they feel the need to post/repost to show their outrage. All it does is draw attention to the original nonsense. Which is exactly what the creator wants

Why do I keep watching Sherlock. It's been an absolute mess since the first season.

Why should they be? Seriously, why should Neo-Nazi ideology be given a platform?

    Season 1& 2 was brilliant.
Season 3 was meh and didn't think much of opening episode to Season 4

Star Wars Rebels and Brooklyn 99 are only shows I'm currently watching really

I dont agree with restricting freedom of speech like that simply because i dont like that point of view at all. Everyone is free to ignore and not read this if they so desire.
They are not giving it a platform they are providing a viewpoint of a different side to what most people would have.

But it's not restricting freedom of speech
They are free to say such things
They just shouldnt be free to publish such rhetoric unchallenged in an opinion piece
To quote historian Liam Hogan "There is no such thing as 'balanced' reporting when it comes to Neo-Nazi ideology. If you offer them a platform unopposed, you are complicit.".

I heard Colm O'Gorman and the opinon Editor from the Times on The Last Word on the way home tonight.

I've only got to reading the piece and I have to say WTF is the big hullaballoo over! I was expecting it to be very different to what it actually was.

Anyway the IT have now published an article from Una Mullally countering.

I have to say I view the alt right and most of the extreme liberals in the exact same way, it ain't a good way either.

Edit: The alt right didn't get Trump elected either, I know people (on both sides) like to think he did so they can continue their ****ty arguments but they didn't.

I was over in the States last year and was surprised at how many people just didn't rate Clinton and didn't like Obama or the Democrats either. These people wouldn't know who the alt right were and couldn't think or anything more annoying than to tweet.

Edit: Even before Trump got the Presidential nomination my Aunt, who lives in America and would be a democrat, was saying that she wasn't sure if she could bring herself to vote for Clinton and her friends, who were also democrats, had the same view.

Why has my boards mobile site changed to something that looks like it was designed by a 9 year old?

How can I get it back to the "proper" way it was.

*Seriously this new format is pathetic*

The cinema with the VW beetle and the sofas?
Class. Saw an absolutely appalling rom com with Richard Gere and j lo there but it was still brilliant. Pizzas at half time.

South island is brilliant. Kaikoura brilliant for whale watching too. As well as the frank joseph glacier, queenstown and Milford sound.

I was there in December and sun tans weren't on offer tbh.

That's the one. We used Wanaka as a relaxing stop for a few nights. Went to the cinema the first night there. Hot chocolate brownies with ice cream and glass of wine for the movie on a sofa.

Went back a couple of nights later on my own when at a loose end. Couple of beers and slices of pizza on a lazyboy. Cracking little spot.

I can't really stand the whole secret agent Mary storyline. It's just awful and very uninteresting.
Hopefully it's bloody over now though with her dead

Season 1 was by far the best alright. Episode 3 was amazing and an example of how to do a story that fit into their overarching narrative well and still gives you want you want from a Sherlock story - Sherlock actually solving mysteries. It's devolving into pure Lost-esque conspiratorial nonsense at the moment with very little actual detectiving.

As Sherlock said in the latest episode
    "It's never twins"
. Except in this case I think it will be.

How long did you all visit for?

    About 25 years 😆

Don't listen to these people praising the South Island. It's full of inbred sheep staggers. Stick to the north of the North Island. Much nicer. Bay of Islands, Mangawhai, Tawhrenui, Waiheke Island, Piha, Waitomo Caves, Hotwater Beach, Cathedral Cove, Taupo.

Spoiler for the books(despite the fact that they're well over a hundred years old) as well as the tv show:
I could actually see Mary dying coming, it happens in the original Sherlock Holmes short stories and following it Watson moves back in to Baker St., which is what I imagine is going to happen here.

Just starting playing Final Fantasy XV. It doesn't feel like a Final Fantasy game at all. I'm not a fan of the open world combat, it reminds me of FF 12 from the PS2 which I wasn't a big fan of.
