If McGregor wins the LW belt I think he'll vacate the FW one, Aldo v Holloway for the vacant belt.

Pettis is the money fight for aldo...and were all about money fights now.

McGregor makes those money fights nobody else. You seen Woodley calling for them and he's fighting wonderboy. Aldo v Holloway is my shout if McGregor wins at 205

If Conor drops the FW belt, it automatically goes to Aldo. Not vacant

Taking into account the 8-10 million dollars he will earn for this fight??

    Its graaaaaaand.

So knowing the way Irish people use the word grand when describing things I take it it's fooked!

Will they not run it on the same 10ET /7PST schedule to maximise PPV?

What are ticket prices going to be?
And if i sign up for fight-club what are my chances of getting them?

Great fight! 205 looks like an incredible card. Surely in fairness he has to stop holding up the FW division now though, let Aldo fight Holloway.

I'm calling it now. UFC 209 Mcgregos vs Diaz 3 for the LW belt.

it pains me a little what the ufc has become..

The likes of Fergson, Khabib, Holloway have no chance of ever getting a title shot.

As much as I love this fight, you're right. If it wasn't for $$ he'd be 3rd or 4th in the queue.

very cheap trip compared to vegas

Jesus no. Hotels are very expensive in NYC. Vegas is cheap as chips for accommodation and booze is free half the time.

Good, the McGregor show just keeps on rolling.

Presser today is going to be interesting as hell, wonder will Dana have a face like a slapped arse.

Presume Conor will rub everyone's faces in it saying he calls the shots, runs the game etc.

Yeah he might be back to his trash talking best now that it's not Nate. Should be fun. Delighted he is added to the card. Fascinated to hear what Aldo makes of it all.

11 pm as far as I know.

They are usually live on fight pass and youtube.

You could do NYC cheaper than Vegas however cheaper to get boozed up and nice place in Vegas. Airbnb will be busy that weekend.

What time will it be on at?

Considering new York are 5 hours behind us here and the main fight is usually 530/6 in the morning here surely it won't be 1 in the morning in new York?

It'll be the same time. So about 1 am it seems.

The Khabib outrage everywhere is hilarious.

Guy has one relevant win in his career which was two and a half years ago.
He's constantly injured and has been decisioning average fighters in the UFC. His last fight he beat an absolute nobody.

If you want to really get into it, Conor has a recent win over the number five guy in the division.

Nothing like a McGregor fight to get the droolers going on Facebook.

I wouldn't be surprised considering they're about to have a World Title fight at 5am in Manchester!

    haha. He!

I'm friends with Dizz, Damon Martin, Jeremy Botter and others online, so i get to PM or whatsapp about the US election and stuff like that every day. Dizz is a Trump nut which i don't agree with but that's beside the point. I'm not sure where he gets his info but that's 4 consecutive scoops now. I can tell you he used to work with Ariel Helwani and has had many dealings with Dana White in person.

The Ticket-on-Sale posters (printed version) were done late last week and seen by MSG staff/a handful of journalists and he told me about the card but i kinda had to be a bit careful in what i said.

As did they. The Brock Lesnar fiasco resulted in 2 people being sacked from the UFC marketing department with non-disclosure signed - that's what i'm told anyway, if that's true..... All because they tipped Ariel off.

I can also tell you that Anthony Pettis manager Malki Kawa was in discussions with the UFC (possibly still for ufc 205) which would indicate Aldo v Pettis and that Chris Weidmans issue was almost 100% to do with Al Iaquinta and not money as being reported.

For the record, Chris Weidman is managed by Audie Attar (Conors Manager) who both met with Dana White Sunday night and i'm led to believe that the compromise reached with the UFC was IF he doesn't fight on 205, he gets the automatic shot at Bisping/Hendo next, regardless of what Jacare/Rockhold do.

Anyway that's enough of the grapevine stuff..... gotta love a Conor press conference! 10 hours....

According to a thread on Sherdog Dana was just on an NY radio station confirming that he got Weidman v Romero done last night.
