Isnt this the lad that hosted the Nintendo World Championships with Mario Maker levels at E3 2015?

Seriously though NX NEWS TOMORROW in his tweet. either he knows/announcing something or he will be in for world of hurt from the interwebs!

With TGS also starting good chance news about to come out as hype is at all time high. Nintendo still quite but they did reveal wii u on same date. September 13, 2012, Nintendo announced that the Wii U would launch in Japan on December 8, 2012

RUMOR: Nintendo's Developer Portal Updated & Gearing Up For An NX Reveal

NWPlayer123, who has a history of accurate leaks, has mentioned that Nintendo’s developer portal was updated. To be more specific, the update was for the SDK, short for Software Development Kit, related to the NX. That’s not all, because the installer/downloader tool was updated too. Nikki says this is Nintendo gearing up for a “devs/reveal” of the NX. The tweets related to the matter are embedded for you down below, if you want to see for yourself. If these tweets are anything to go by, it’s that it may not be much longer until the NX is revealed.

Just because rumours are fun and drive some people a bit silly :pac:

But someone who data mined a lot of costumes from Mario Maker has said that Nintendo's Developer Portal was updated, specifically the Software Development Kit and also the installer/downloader tool as well which, according to them, is a process to gear up for a reveal.

Edit: Sligeach's post has lot more detail.

Desperation has kicked in at the lack of a reveal, but the timing is perfect after Sony reveal and TGS etc, something does seem different this week with rumors, somethings seems up but you think Nintendo announced heads up if it was all real.

But between TGS and Gamespot rumors, the SDK today and IGN head Nintendo side of things in Japan on holiday, all seems like its this week, likely today or tomorrow. Gamespot event might have NX info, but could merely be after official reveal to industry guys in states and TGS for Japan.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild trademark includes a cartridge listing

    Made in the '80s

With Nintendo keeping a tight lip on any NX details, no one knows whether the system will be utilizing discs, going all digital, or following in the vein of the 3DS with cartridges. A recent trademark seems to indicate the latter, unless the Wii U is about to get some cartridge add-on.

Twitter account AllGamesDelta has combed through the trademark filing and highlighted the spot where "video game cartridges" is listed. While this doesn't explicitly mean the NX will be using cartridges, I'm not sure what else this could represent.

If you'd like to take a look for yourself, DocDroid has the PDF with all of the information. Until Nintendo starts talking the NX, no one will know the truth. Maybe we'll get a special gold cartridge like the NES classics? That would be pretty sweet.

I'm sure there'd be a leak from TGS by now if they were setting up any stands.
But as was said earlier, they would need to make the announcement of a conference or Direct today for tomorrow or Thursday.

There should be a dedicated sub forum to NX rumours...
Sligeach and MilesMorales1 could moderate it.

All these rumours do is give us momentum to keep going.

I have to say, I'm getting genuinely excited with all this. Having said that, I haven't been keeping up to date with all the rumours and what have ya.
I'll probably be burnt out by Friday.
I just hope the release it with Mario Chase as the main launch title.

This expectation is just draining the fun out of it tbh.
How on earth can the NX meet the crazy expectations?
Mario Chase... I would guess they will do what they have done with each console that had some innovation and release something to showcase it.
The Snes had Super Mario World showing off mode7 goodness.
The N64 had Mario 64 showing the world the best use of a analogue stick.
The Wii had Wii Sports, possibly the only game a lot of folk ever played on it!
The WiiU had Nintendoland, show casing asymmetrical play.

So, Zelda is hardly going to show off the NX, given it is going to be largely the same game as the WiiU version, so what will it be?

that will really lure every developer. The NX is so great it can even make the worst games good

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,431 ✭✭✭MilesMorales1

NX runs every game at 1080p 60fps.

    Like all of them.

    You heard it here first.

    Jaaayssus...
    Can't believe you went.... there....
    Such a bad game.
We had a playthrough attempt at a Beers in my place last year... couldn't be done, the game is broken, and awful in every way.

I'm completely and utterly frustrated at Nintendo at not revealing an ounce of information except for 'insider source' crap.

It really better be a good reveal and REALLY better be a good console that will appeal to someone who has felt a bit bummed after buying a Wii U. I have not bought any Wii U games this year and I guess my game collection will stick to a paltry 25 games.

Well, seeing as the typical tie ration for consoles owned to software owned is between 3 and 8:1 on average, you're doing pretty well.
And you'd be very hard pushed to find 25 games combined on both PS4 and XB1 worth owning right now, excluding titles that are remasters from the previous generation.

Sounds right to me. We got a direct in.... April last year? And we usually get one around that time anyway. I'd say we're looking at the middle of November anyway*

    *pure speculation.

Christ. Such optimism! We were so sure it'd be out in 2016!

It still is pretty much what was speculated back in May though, a reveal/announcement sometime in September. To some that meant the 1st though, so it's 13 days waiting for them :pac: It'll come lads, it'll come.
