practically zero talk about the Cain Travis fight, this an easy one for Cain?
I actually see Travis winning. Cain has been so inactive the past few years & looked a shadow of his former self against Werdum. I predict a first round tko.

Cormier took rumble johnsons best and beat him so you'd expect him to dispatch Silva but you wouldnt know how DC is mentally after this big **** up with Jones being pulled,Anderson by highlight reel k.o.

Yeah I'm over my disappointment of JJ being a juicer and spoiling the main. Can't wait for this now. Poor DC, everyone will probably be shouting for Anderson "2 days notice, training consisted of eating pizza and icecream and chilling with the family" Silva.

Wow excited to see Anderson vs Cormier, happy with that.

Tate Nunes as the main seems madness, Brock headlining attracts way more casual viewers, don't see the logic and certainly an undeserved accolade.

I disagree with the part in bold. Miesha has been grinding in the UFC for a while now and showed to have the heart of a warrior against Holly and she has showed it in many fights in the past. Brock was off playing make believe for the last few year and hasn't fought in 5 years, it would be a sham if he got Main Event over Miesha who is a title holder. Edgar/Aldo could have an argument for being ahead of Miesha potentially.

PPV wise it makes no sense, but I too am glad to see a title shot get top billing (even if it is one I have no interest in).

Nah, can't see it happening. Cormier is too big, too strong, too good a wrestler for Silva. There's no way Cormier will stand and trade with Anderson, I expect to see Cormier being able to take it to the ground and employ lots of dirty boxing in the clinch.

Will Cormier make the same money as for fighting Jones?

I wouldn't think so anyway but its better than no pay cheque

    Ah it does sometimes!!:D

Very true though, the way most people see fights going when applying logic is not always what happens - plenty of recent examples of that. Part of the reason we all watch it, unpredictability!

It's amazing how Aldo v Edgar is on it's like it's gone under the radar. That's the fight of the weekend I reckon, I'm expecting a 5 round war.

    I'd say so.

The only downside is that if he's getting a slice of the PPV income, I would say it will be lower than if he was fighting Jones.

frankie shouldn't leave it in the hands of the judges
aldo mcgreggor 2 would have a bigger draw of the casual fans

Not that people ive talked to who are only casual fans, they all think aldo is ''****e'' because he was slept in 13 seconds,I thought it was the general opinion everyone wanted to see McGregor Edgar in NY.

Aldo weighed in at 145.5, dropped the jocks and made 145. Frankie came in at 144.5

DC came in at 206 and that was with dropping the jocks as well.

still think there is a "known" rivalry between conor and josé

in embedded 200 aldo mentions how much he hates him, but i'm talking casual fans worldwide not just people who only watch conor fights or cards
i assume ther wasn't a word on the irish media what Joe Duffy did this morning
maybe he could go on the Joe Duffy show

The casual fans dont like Duffy he holds a win over Conor being their only reason probably.

Like I said yesterday, I would have been delighted for Tate/Nunes to main event and that it shows how far the UFC have come. I'm excited for it.

The card is still epic no matter what way you look at it.

    Silva/Cormier is interesting as hell.

If you google Duffy UFC you'll see a good few articles and almost all of them are from the Irish media. He's not a star or household name like McGregor but if he keeps winning he'll get more attention.

There are early weigh ins in place so fighters can weigh in when they like. Weigh in show is still on tonight where they will be on stage to have their weight announced. Mmafighting.com is giving live results.

i stupidly thought early weigh ins meant the live thing would be earlier
this makes sense but does this mean they can stay dressed or do they pretend to strip down and be weighed even tho they would be over?
