1980 Ford Capri spotted in Letterkenny. The modern alloys spoil it IMO.

(I also spotted a pristine Mark I Fiesta but no pic. :()

And a piece of 'art' also in Letterkenny at the Port Bridge Roundabout.

'Not wise I know taking a picture while driving up the rear of a €150K + car '

Especially in a LHD (Fiat?). Speaking of Italian, I notice the white Merc coupé (Mike65) is Italian spec also - square no. plate, and indicator side repeater .

Those Capri alloys are RS items, prob 7x14, AFAK they were fitted to the 280 Brooklands model towards the end.

The is what looks like a continental rally stopped in near me...

Bear in mind I know nothing about classic cars, but they look quite impressive!

    Here's a taster...

That's a 1941 Buick 2 door convetible. Either a Special or a Super, judging by the number of vents at the side....

Please tell me where you saw this car!!!

Saw it in Woodstock Golf Club.

They are gone now though, they were only there overnight. Judging from the sticker on the bumpers of the cars, it is a European thing, where they visit different places.

I take it this is a rare car so!

What sort of value would be on it?

That merc(ZS 8026) is literally one of the last few hundred cars to be registered in dublin before the 87 changeover, think the last reg was ZS 8709,or thereabouts.Must have been registered in the last few days of december.
