I’m the second . When we went to the priest about my wedding he asked me in a condescending manner ‘what country are you from ‘ . He got a shock when I said out the road , in Monaghan 😃😃

Another one . There’s something beeping in the other bedroom but it’s piled high with boxes , so I can’t find it . I think it’s a carbon monoxide detector but I’ll wait until tomorrow to hook it out and go to the dump

I’m pretty sure it’s only the battery , but I’ll open the bedroom window just in case

Filling up with petrol and wanting to put €50 and just knowing you won't be able to stop the pump bang on €50

Does it matter. No if you are paying cash they always ignore the odd few pence and if you are paying by card it makes no difference. Still Trivially annoying all the same.

Wake me up when it's all over.

And while I'm still thinking about petrol pumps why do people drive up to the pumps and go to the first pump and block access to the pump in front?

Wake me up when it's all over.

… and then go inside and do their grocery shopping or sit down to have a nice cup of tea. 🙄

I ranted previously about this but here goes. I was on an extremely busy forecourt some years ago, there was a guy with a bulk tanker trying to get in, to deliver fuel, and there was a car parked up at the pump in front of the one I had used.

I went into the shop and asked if the owner of the - whatever car it was - could please move it. A woman stood up at a leisurely pace from her lunch, and said in a sarcastic tone - 'by all means.' FFS, pay for your fuel, move your car and THEN go in and spend the day in there if you like.

As it happened when I got back out, the tanker had managed to move so I was able to reverse out. She still hadn't appeared out as I drove away. Dumbass.

Parents who don't parent and leave the smartphone to raise their kids. Yes i know it's not easy raising a family (ive two of my own who are in their earlier 20's) but maybe you should have thought of that before deciding to start a family in the first place. It takes effort stupid.

High achievers who are nice people, people who are good at everything, they are invariably superb academically, great at sports. Male/Female they are reasonably attractive/handsome without really having to try. They have a great sense of humour and are effortless conversationalist's.

They take everyone as they find them, have no notions whatsoever (even though they would probably be entitled to have notions) they are understated. They are even altruistic and volunteer for charities etc.

In my mind I think "Jayus you are impressive, but you sicken me"

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Maxol in Santry, on the Swords Road is usually very cheap, so very busy but it only has four pumps… sometimes you’ll see some shocker of a gimp pull up to the first pump 👀, get out, and in no rush there is a brief chat with whomever their passenger is, fill up, another word shared inside the car and then…off in a leisurely manner to pay.

So in addition to sharing your pump usage TA….People that have no concept or respect for other peoples time and requirements….the above scenario happened last week at that very Maxol…. 😒

Getting a cut on your dominant index finger. So frustrating.

a person making a serious drama out of having too much food on their plate….repeated X3….: “This is a crazy amount of food I’ll never finish it, jeez”. Only proceeding then to eat every single morsel of it, followed by a coffee and a biscuit…. People who make an absolute drama out of the most basic situations like eating their fûckin lunch, come on shovel that curry into your gob so you can give our ears a rest here….😏

Shall we discuss about how much of a bitch those cracks on the corner of your thumbnail, caused by the cold and by dry skin, are? You lose all the strength on your thumb, whatever you do you always end up hitting them full force against everything... and then there's the sanitising hand gel…

People who don't understand the concept of time zones. No, it's fine, I'll just sit here all evening waiting for you to approve something that was sent to you hours ago because it's only lunchtime where you are and you've all afternoon to get to it as far as you're concerned.

My job is hybrid. Normally I walk to the office each time I have to go in.

Very grey this morning and rain forecast for this afternoon so I drove instead.

When I arrived I discovered that the other colleagues I usually meet there had decided to work from home today. They did email me yesterday to advise - but it was sent late & after I had logged off for the day. So I could have stayed at home.

Had to shut down my PC for 30 minutes because some technical guys on the floor were testing stuff. So I couldn't do any work during that time.

It was sunny when I left office at 5.00pm. No rain at all during the day. So I could have walked in and out.

And when I got to multi-storey car park, I noticed a new scratch on my passenger door. Not major but annoying. No sign of a note from anyone.

Interview was 2 weeks ago yesterday and I've not heard a peep. Went very, very well I thought. Lad I know who also interviewed asked about it and apparently, one of the HR team is off until the 17th.

I didn't hear anything for weeks after I interviewed for my current job. It was during the summer and I knew people were off and whatnot but it was still so long that I had written it off. In fairness, the recruiter kept in touch throughout, let me know that they'd said no to another candidate, etc, but had no update on the second round. It was about 7 weeks later in the end when he rang me to say they had decided to skip the second round and go straight to offer. Hang in there and definitely keep in touch with whoever you're dealing with to let them know you're still interested and available.

Probably not that trivial, but jez that Ticketmaster site is a disaster to use.

Took me 40min today to order tickets for Fai cup final.

Can't remember if I posted this already, shows how sleep deprived I am, anyway my back injections ten days ago have irritated my back no end. Uncomfortable no matter what way I put myself, cannot remain any particular way for more than a few minutes without either getting a pain flare or locking up

    Barmbrack.

Would you like a piece of this rich fruit bread? Its full of juicy currants and peel.

    Sounds lovely, yes please!

And one of the pieces has a small piece of metal hidden inside that you might find, or you might choke on.

    Oh, well in that case....

But dont worry, the small piece of metal is wrapped in paper and who doesnt love the sensation of wet paper in their mouth?

Fcuk off, im having a croissant.

When you are trying to watch what you eat and there is a big bowl of home made chocolate fudge just sitting there.

Oh that's out of TA realm. That would break my lame attempt at eating less junk because, I mean, homemade

Am I the only freak of nature who rotates their crockery/glassware??? I mentioned this to my sister earlier and she reacted like I should be sectioned. Like, does nobody else put the clean glasses and plates at the bottom of the pile/back of the press whenever they empty the dishwasher so they're not just using the same few dishes every time? It can't be just me.

Specifically have four of everything to ensure rotation
