When your in a shop one you met somebody say hello and have a brief chat.

You then keep on meeting then in every isle and awkwardly say hello again and again.

I did that with a woman I've never met before. Helped her get a trolley out of the trolley park (they were all stuck) and then kept bumping into her.

Finally came out into the car park and there she was loading her car next to mine.

I was going to say the immortal line "we'll have to stop meeting like this" but what came out was "I hope no one that knows us saw us" :-( Fortunately it did get a laugh.

A neighbour's cat moved in with me a few years back. Arrived around 8.30 on the kitchen window every morning, I'd let him in and he'd stay around all day until nightfall, then sit in the hallway waiting to be let out to go back home across the street. (He had half-board, sort of) This went on for around 2 years until my neighbour moved and took her cat with her.

He was mostly a nice cat, young and giddy. Some days I'd pick him up and it was all purrs, licks and head-butts, another time it was a bite and claws dug in till he was put down. No idea where he is now but he was a blackguard when he wanted to be.
