Lots of good use of the hand pass by Dunloy. Always to a man on the run.

No goal for Thomas' as of yet. I think they failed to score a goal in all five of their Galway finals. They might need one today.

No breaching the Dunloy defence today. Without a doubt the better team in the final. Impressive second half performance. Good to see an Antrim club back in the All Ireland final.

    Congrats too Dunloy

Not going by any script and with all the talk of Ballygunner/Ballyhale coming from completely under the radar and no pressure on them in the final

Delighted for Dunloy..were plenty people being very dismissive of them..assuming they wouldn't even get out if ulster..were the better team today ..

Great win for Dunloy. Well deserved over a very poor St Thomas. Poor poor game.

You would have to think they might as well present the cup to the winner of this one. Not a slight on Dunloy, but the two Ballys are on a different level to either team.

Losing 2 players in first 15 mins could cost ballyhale at the end..

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,409 ✭✭✭robbiezero

Good game so far. Some great scores. Frantic pace.

  • Registered Users Posts: 616 ✭✭✭Mad about baa baas

Great save..then the wide after was a killer..ballygunner getting scores easier I think..

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,351 ✭✭✭YabaDabaDooley

Yes some save by S O Keefe. A real moral booster for the Gunners and body blow to the cats.

It is, but there is goals there for them and Id say they will need one or two.

    O Keefe is some keeper.

Real battle of the heavy weights here. Ballygunner have proven they have the stamina going down the stretch. Can the cats keep up the pace?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,351 ✭✭✭YabaDabaDooley

Another top save from O Keefe but E Shefflin hit it straight at him. Penalty to Ballyhale C Fennelly pulled down.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,194 ✭✭✭Jarhead_Tendler

if Ballgunner pull this off they may thank O Keefe

  • Registered Users Posts: 616 ✭✭✭Mad about baa baas

If ballygunner win this keeper definitely man of the match

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,351 ✭✭✭YabaDabaDooley

A miracle penalty save by O Keefe from TJ. One of the best goalkeeping displays in a long time.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,194 ✭✭✭Jarhead_Tendler

2 points in 20 mins from Ballygunner . Their forwards have great skill but seem to be struggling physically against the shamrock defence

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,351 ✭✭✭YabaDabaDooley

Ballygunner quite porous in defence today. Lots of gaps down the centre. Ballyhale looking good now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 616 ✭✭✭Mad about baa baas

Ballyhale completely on top everywhere except the scoreboard..a goal for ballygunner could turn the tide

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,194 ✭✭✭Jarhead_Tendler

Better team won. Two very good teams who pushed each other. Both hitting wides that they would nail in their sleep on another day

Best team won today..and over in time for the extra time in Qatar

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,409 ✭✭✭robbiezero

Well done Ballyhale. Dominated the 2nd half.

Ballygunner had a few bad wides after the goal and that was that. Ballyhale the better team anyway.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,351 ✭✭✭YabaDabaDooley

Posted in World Cup thread by mistake. Yea Ballyhale fully deserved winners. Nice bit of revenge were far more potent in attack. Coukd have scored a hatful of goals. Will be warm favoirites in final.

Disappointing performance from Ballygunner but Ballyhale better team on the day and deserved the win

Bit bitter but would love if Dunloy beat them but very hard to see that happening

Pretty open game of free flowing football thus far. Kilmacud cutting through the Kerry defence a few times and sent a great goal chance wide. I expect Kilmacud to win with a bit to spare.

Nice day for a game of football. No wind. Not too cold for this time of year. No rain. Not a bad double header. I presume the bars iand food areas are open in the Hogan Stand to keep the punters refreshed.

6 v 3 to Crokes, all 6 coming from play. Another goal chance not taken aswell.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,351 ✭✭✭YabaDabaDooley

Kilmacud look fitter and faster around the field. A second goal chance spurned. Game should be out of reach already.

8 v 6 at ht with the Kerry team racking up 3 points in the last 5 minutes of the half, Crokes still in charge.

Nice open game. David Moran showing his class at times. Shane Walsh not really in it yet from open play.
