Great exhibition of hard ball winning from him, some ox in the air. Tommy Walsh winning some tough ball inside too although I'd say he like it in closer the goal and higher.

Crokes to win comfortably enough however. Just too strong all over the field for them.

The wide open spaces of Croke Park is very unforgiving for any player not in tip top shape. I see a couple of Kerry men blowing hard already. Crokes well on top.

Very poor missed free from Shane Walsh. His worst game for Crokes yet. Even the best have bad days at the office. Usually they respond the next game. Expect some Walsh fireworks in the final.

He had a very good year for Galway last year, but prior to that he was very inconsistent.

There's more atmosphere in the bogs that Bord Na Mona have closed down than there is in a 95% empty Croke Park.

How did BJK not get a red for his kick at the Crokes player? KOR getting away with a lot of late hits.

Rory O Carroll another excellent performance. Really marshalls the defence and plenty of stamina to get forward as well.

Crokes win by 3 but were a step above the Kerry team. The late scoring burst in each half made it closer on the scoreboard than it really was but gave them a very late chance of a goal for a draw, but didn't materialise.

Yea Crokes hanging on when really should have been out of sight. All the substitutes seemed to unsettle them towards the end. Close shave in the end.

Moycullen still in this, looked like it was slipping away early in the half

1-9 to 9, feels like the next score could be crucial

Very enjoyable game, 1-9 to 10, all to play for

Conneely misses a very scorable free, disaster when he's usually so reliable

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,351 ✭✭✭YabaDabaDooley

Joe Brolly in attendance with his wife looking pleased with his fellow county mens performance. Another enjoyable game to watch. Two good semi finals.

Great score by Glen's corner back Mulholland.

11 for moycullen should have tried to work a goal when they got that turnover on 62 mins

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,526 ✭✭✭MacDanger

GWG deserved winners, they just found scores that bit easier to come by. Some bad wides from moycullen down the stretch

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,351 ✭✭✭YabaDabaDooley

Moycullen made a dogs dinner of that last gasp free. Overall the better team won i feel. The blistering start gave them a nice lead which, try as they may, Moycullen were never able to reign them in.

I was at the two semi final club football matches on Sunday. I thought they were odd games both of the teams who started well (Glen and Kilmacud) nearly contrived to make a balls of it.

I was thinking for the final the Kilamcud and Glen match could be a lot closer than many think. That midfield Geln have of Bradley and Glass would do well against any club midfield in the history of the game. Plus the tactics Glen use draw teams on.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Looks like Paul Mannion will play some part in the final. Himself and Shane Walsh would surely have too much class for the Glen's backline. If they hit form and the likes of Hugh Kenny chip in with a few scores i don't see Kilmacud being beaten. Last years heartbreaking loss will drive them on. They have far more experience of playing in Croke Park than Glen. Crokes to win.

Strange Derry and Kerry pre season games were on yesterday afternoon same time as the 2 semi finals.

Top class junior match here. Tyrone lads played well but ran out of steam. Let themselves down a bit with the red cards especially the second one.

Pleasure to watch a genius at work at FF for Fossa.

All the Tyrone lads wanted to do was fight. Delighted they were beaten

That elbow was a dirty move.

Always good to see a tyrone team beaten.

One of the most cowardly hits I have ever seen, should be a lengthy ban.

The Sigerson Cup is the only final that Clifford lost in the last twelve months or so. And he was majestic today, should be a requirement for every young player to sit down and watch him.

The lad that threw the elbow should be banned for a long time.

That elbow will surely get a long and well deserved ban.

    His speech is fairly bad.
