If there was any logic and science endorsing the recent restrictions a healthy 40 year old gym goer should also have a special permit for his daily cycle too as he is 10x more likely to die due to a bike accident than from covid.

Obviously, there is no science in most nphet recommendations. It was zero covid strategy then, it is zero death from covid now based on models that are largely oversimplified and time and time again proven to be grossly inaccurate and inadequate.

Some people are consenting to be mRNA'd every five-six months (UK trying to suggest every three months), for a virus that's only really dangerous to the old and those with serious underlying conditions.

Worse yet, they're consenting to a growing discrimination based system that will exclude them as well if they fail to adhere to all government demands in future. Want to opt out after your sixth booster? Sorry, no gym or pub for you. New medication being added to your Covid Pass regiment as per advice of NPHET or the EU. Better take it. Kid not liking the mask all day at school? Tough, they'll be out of the system.. Imagine handing away that sort of power to a government.

If we had a world wide plan of vaccinating those most vulnerable first maybe we could halt the variants

but hey choosing to vaccinate a healthy Irish white child over a brown or black African child that lives in poverty , it don’t sit right with me.

I'm in the tail end of my 30s and lost my relationship to this pandemic. I am living at home with two old parents, both reasonably high risk. Now, everyone is boosted but they are still hysterical about Covid. I brought a cold (it was a cold) home from work and they are both sick now. One needs care already, how am I supposed to go out and socialise, how am I supposed to meet anyone, how am I supposed to have a family? With all of this I haven't got the headspace to get involved with someone. There are no uncles/aunts/brothers/sisters/anyone to help. I know 5,000 people are looking for carers. Huge waiting list. Its bleak.

I have had to accept that the whole Covid thing has drawn a line under me ever having a family, or being a dad, or moving out of home again. Just isn't feasible now.

Where is this booster every 3 months news in the U.K.? All I can find is that they’ve lowered the booster time from 6 months to 3.

i think anyone who cares about the poor children dying around the world because of poverty and no access to good healthcare should take an oath They will not take any jabs, boosters or any other medicine to treat covid until the Poorer nations are taking care of first

Yup, it is very concerning how quickly a social fabric frays from ‘no we will never allow to isolate the vulnerable even for the purpose of protecting them from this deadly virus as we are all in this together” to “these pesky unvaccinated should be excluded from full freedoms of living their lives, it is their own fault after all”.
