I understand the context of back to backs and especially the context of the last few years but Tipperary have 3 all Irelands in the last decade. Only surpassed by the all conquering dominant Limerick.

Most counties could only wish for that level of success.

Probably the same chance of winning the all Ireland next year than we have of getting out of Munster.

Think we need another 2 younger players to force their way into the team. Still think Breen would be more effective around the middle if we could find a corner back.

2 younger players into the team but I can't think of any of the starting 15 that should be dropped to make way for them.

But a lot can happen in a year, let them all go back to their clubs and see how the league goes in the spring.

Personally, whatever about winning I'd love to see Tipperary in the all Ireland final again next year as the team of legends will be the 2001 team of Tommy Dunne, John Carroll etc.

They have a good record of winning finals when they do get to them. They won the last 3 they were in (2025, 2019 and 2016) and were unlucky in 2014 (hawkeye)

imagine if you came back from a a two month Antarctic expedition and you are told that the AI hurling was won by Tipperary by a score of 3.27 to 1.18 and you asked the following questions :-

    (1) who did Tipp beat?

If I was that individual my answer would be Louth and if not then Leitrim, or Carlow or Monaghan or maybe Cavan or Mayo or Sligo or!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    (2) what would be the MOST UNLIKELY four teams involved?

My answer would be Cork, Limerick , Kilkenny and Waterford

incredible that Cork is in the first category. Cork , going forward, will now always be seen as as Mortal - the colour red , as a colour to be feared , will no longer apply

Clubs haven't played in a month and a half. They still get a sizeable chunk of summer to actually play games. That's what it should be all about. Not playing this weekend would be a shame.

ah but you have to give it an extra week in fairness, we play non intercounty player club games right up to the start of the championship so club players are always are busy , usually every second week since march football one week hurling the next

if ye are going to be like that shur we mayaswell take back what's rightfully ours anyway next year and show ye where ye are going wrong 😂

the lads in ballingarry last week nearly put liam cahills head up through the skylight in the smoking area of the local pub last week , if he hit his head of one of them railway sleepers of beams it would be micky bevins managing the team next year

in fairness its a great club championship i will be keeping tabs on it on clubber

Didn't see any streamed club matches as i travelled to one but my attention was brought to a video posted by clubber on tiktok of Rhys Shelley saving a penalty from John Mcgrath in what looked like a comfortable win for Moycarkey Borris.

The divisional championships are already a few weeks behind schedule so no point putting them off any longer or making an entire county of clubs wait for 40 intercounty players.
