Very little discussion going on, is it possible we could be outnumbered, yet again, on Sunday!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,238 ✭✭✭KanyeSouthEast

If it’s discussion on Tipp gaa you are looking for you are in the wrong place. If only the county had a dedicated supporters forum! Outnumbered like we were against Laois? Against Galway? Against Waterford?

Plenty of Tipperary forum discussions going on for this game, just not on this site.

It's great to be involved at this stage, because of the state we've been in in recent years, but it's like we're Offaly getting to Croke Park.

Simon Harris is monitoring the situation...

Anyone know what the story is with premier view? I registered months ago and still haven't been approved and there's no email address/contact form/phone number or any other way of contacting them.

    + 2

    Very same. Something needs fixing

It might be closed to new members? Some forums do that due to spambots etc.

I'm registered on it and there's active discussions but some posters seem to know each other well and reading their conversations I feel like I'm eavesdropping on a conversation I'm not part of. Good forum though especially when the club scene is going, like previous posters have said there's lots of places to discuss the big intercounty games.

Looking forward to this one, we've had a very good season. Not many expected us to get out of Munster and here we are back in Croke Park in a semi final.

We aren't the finished article by any means but neither are kilkenny and there's no reason why we can't go and beat them Sunday. Very little between both teams. One big worry I'd have is how few of our players have played in Croke Park, think that's a big advantage for kk.

Is it really time to get rid of this Tipperary GAA forum. 3 days out from our first appearance in croke park in an all Ireland semi final for 6 years and it's lifeless around here.

I'd be worried about that midfield and would be surprised if we start as selected. Ideally I'd want O'Farrell or Seamus Kennedy to wing back, Morgan to Midfield and Tynan to wing forward.

Unless Tynan is not 100%,in which case he shouldn't be togged out, I can't understand why he's not starting, and don't anyone mention " spring him off the bench " . You should always start your best team and Tynan is a terrier that's needed from the start IMO.

not sure what’s the story with tickets on ticketmaster. Have held out all week to see if there was any half decent lower cusach or hogan and not a bit. Was on multiple times every day and no central tickets

Ended up taking upper davin just now.

Will there br 50,000 there tomorrow?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,133 ✭✭✭julyjane

Close to it anyway if you look up ticketmaster and see what seats are left

Safe travels to all going up. Looking forward to a great game of hurling and hopeful for a win.

    60,738 for a finish

Jaysus lads, the minor, the under 20's, senior, even the camoige team they can't seem to beat us.

Having said that I thought we were in big trouble when we starting missing the frees and McCarthy got the line but absolute lazarus comeback.

The fight Cahill has instilled in this team is incredible, out hurled for large parts they stayed at it and torn their defence a sunder.

Unbelievable to think we're back in an All Ireland final, not sure many would have predicted that at the start of the year.

Support today was phenomenal. Great to see the fans back. Nothing to lose in 2 weeks, nobody will give us a prayer but no doubt the players will give it everything.

Great match from both sides great teams . Glad to be there to see Tipp play like that and hope to get tickets for the final but not too confident.

i didnt see that coming , some performances from forde and jake morris , kilkenny giving brian o'meara the freedom of the park was bad idea , there is a great balance to the side with youth and experience , cork will be the favorites just going on the league final alone but if tipperary produce that performance again they will go very close

robert doyle has had some year in fairness

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,133 ✭✭✭julyjane

Whatever happens in 2 weeks this Tipperary team owe us nothing. Very happy with today's performance, having stuck with Tipp through the last few years when people wondered what Cahill was at, I'm glad we trusted the process and let him finish what he started.

I still have a feeling for the final that Cork will feel like it got away from them last year and it's theirs to win this year whereas we're feeling grateful to be there. But if my club's allocation sends a ticket my way I will still be there shouting Tipp Tipp Tipp probably vastly outnumbered by red jerseys who seem to have a knack for pulling tickets out of their backsides

Congrats to the Tipp team and supporters from a Kilkenny man. It was a rollercoaster match but when push came to shove (when McCarthy got sent off), ye completely outfought and outworked us and deserved the win.

Best of luck in the final, I do actually hope ye win! 😁

Glad Cahill was let continue but I don't think it was the " process " , but rather the transition of young players, Farrell, Mccarthy, O Donough . But getting the best out of Ormond has to be Cahills greatest achievement this year.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,825 ✭✭✭realdanbreen

Some amount of clicbait rubbish being discussed on newstalk at the moment. The chairman of the Kilkenny supporters wants tipp to offer them a replay!

Tipp won the match well even with the one point difference . I am sure the 'psychological effect ' on Kilkenny will blow over .

Gentlemanly and very accurate comment from @dastardly00 above , fair dues .
