    The 2 teams in the final are probably opposites of each other. MNG has the big name players up front but question marks over how they would work together while slick doesn't have the same star names but has more of a natural fit for each player in their positions.

    I think the write ups for it will be what convinces me either way.

    Right now for me anyway it's big names vs solid setup

    Yeah congrats Slick, and cheers GLaDOS.


    Maybe it's just cos I am used to the draft over on the PW board (which can often run for months - Slick, MNG, H2D etc take part in that one too) but anyone else feel like they were just getting into this and then got knocked out or it ended. Might be stretching here but if someone, say a hunter of Bounties, was to run another draft (an all time draft) would people be interested?

    I know there's a draft feature on Football Manager but I'm am not sure how much work would go into drafting 2 teams up on the game etc..

    But it would be a nice twist to see maybe a best of 3 games between sides. You can save matches as well so we could get the highlights up on YouTube and post here.

    It's obviously way way more work but would be very interesting

    I don't mind running the drafting part and if someone knows how to do this and it isn't too much work we could do that for the games.

    I was thinking of running an all time draft (so everyone from Pele to Pogba) but if people wanted to go the FM route i'd assume older players might be an issue so I could just run an all players present day version.

    Alright seems there is not much demand (or nobody outside of us 12 would even look at this thread at this point) outside of myself and H2D for another draft at the moment.

    Was curious to see how an all time one would work as these tend to be themed towards whatever is going on when they happen and it'd interesting to see where stars of now / yesterday would go when all in. This draft for example I was pretty confident who would take Ronaldo & Messi from the moment the draw was made because you could tell who the current European qualified based on prime GOAT is according to most for example. Similarly I was curious to see how people would rate older players in general and how far back they would go in their selections.

    If people are capable of doing it I do think that IM's suggestion above could be interesting for a current player draft in the future too.
