Dani Alves would’ve been an awesome pick, and he never even entered my mind either.

Had Aguero in mind too but knew he’d never get down as far as me, never thought for a second he’d be ineligible but he was injured so often in the last year that it doesn’t real,y surprise me now.

Lucky I read this. Was wracking my brain there as to whether to pick Aguero or Suarez. Guess I know now

Feck ya anyway Liam O. Suarez a great pick, I took my chances of picking a midfielder in the last round in the hopes that he would slip through to me as most people before me had forward positions picked. A phenomenal player - back to the drawing board for me.

One of them where there was only one real choice. I had planned my previous round around one of him, Aguero or Neymar falling to me without realising Aguero was gone. Lucky I guess though I did have a contingency.

Hands down the best player apart from Ronaldo and Messi Last decade . Very unfortunate not to have a balloon dor. My favourite player ever

Some of the teams are starting to take shape. The spine of Glados team looks a very strong and tough unit. Some excellent choices so far and good teams being built.

Delighted to see Fab slip down as far as me, I probably would've taken Casemiro to complete the Madrid midfield but I think Fab is every bit as good in his own right.

Best part is that he only just qualified for this round too, he played 1 minute for Brazil in the last year and that was only a week ago.

Coming back to round 10 briefly, the "UEFA players who didn't make it" round, are we happy to continue with overall/peak form for that?

If a player was called up originally but then withdrew due to injury, I take it they're not eligible until round 10 or am I mistaken?

That's correct, this list has been updated as players dropped out and were called up etc. So if they're not on the list at the time of picking, they're not eligible.

Was looking at Azpi this round. Got negative feedback picking him a couple of years ago in the PL draft because he wasn't good enough going forward which is obvious nonsense. Great pick and great player.

So it's any UEFA player currently still playing who didn't make the squad?
What about retired from international football but still playing club football players?

I'd be inclined to include "internationally retired" players, as it's not always clear if a players retired, or just not selected anymore. Same reason I didn't include them in the legends round.

Perfect, so peak form of any currently active UEFA player not selected in the final squad.

Hamsik is a great draft imo, strongly considered him for my last pick. He's playing in Sweden atm but at his peak he is a great addition to any team in this.

Once again it is naïve to think anyone will slip through in this draft

I was wondering if anybody would have picked Lev Yashin. It's probably hard to pick someone that none of us really know anything about. All I know is that every football expert say he's the best goalkeeper of all time by a mile and there's absolutely no debate about it.

No idea how Toby lasted this long. Was between him and Rudiger for my 2nd cb.
