But wait! Bonus points on offer:

    1. One bonus point for the best song, that I had not heard before, across all six categories.
    2. Two bonus points for the highest scorer in the suitability category when all six categories suitability scores are tallied up.

The best song across all categories was a tie:

    Bauhaus In The Flat Field
    Killing Joke Love Like Blood

Both provided by Irish Aris, so what the hey, he deserves two bonus points!

Gratz to Also Starring LeVar Burton who retains his Reberrus crown impressively!

Commiserations to ShaneU, who I really feel deserves to win too, but that's the way it goes. I was convinced LeVar was the one who entered Fleetwood Mac in the final round and I was all prepared to crown you until I checked the PMs! Credit to Necro, the bronze medallist, great performance, I don't know he managed it with a theme.

Beakerjoe, last minute entry, defended his Reberrus wooden spoon! (Bet it was his masterplan all along).

    Highlights of the Walrus:

    Bauhaus In The Flat Field
    Killing Joke Love Like Blood
    Massive Attack Safe from Harm
7th Avenue Aviators You Should O' Held On

    Psycho with Alice Cooper's Steven.

A small 20 second segment of The Stairway Shootout with the The Ides Of March's Superman.

The Darkness' Growing On Me with The Lost Boys which was (intentionally, I hope) hilarious. Thanks beakerjoe. ;)

The weird way The Beatles' Happiness Is A Warm Gun works with Black Christmas. I wanted to give it more points but decided against.

Moby's One Of These Mornings pitted along with one of my favourite movie scenes of all-time.

Although I really didn't like alot of the music, I enjoyed it more than my last Walrus because it was a far more interesting concept (if I say so myself). I was very impressed with the majority of the efforts which means one of four things:

A/ Finding music to suit film scenes isn't as hard as I suspected.
    B/ Y'all got lucky.
    C/ Y'all are geniuses.
    D/ All of the above.

Thanks to everyone who participated! Until next time in the very, very, very distant future...maybe!

I mean hard luck Shane, a well fought game that was really close, I thought you had it in the bag.

Cheers Reberetta, another cracking Walrus, loved the idea for this one, and I am glad you once again agree, that I am the best... :D

Ah, I'll take that 3 of my selections are in the highlights.

Reb, that was such a great twist on the Walrus concept, thank you so much for organising.

And congrats LeVar, you still are the master of Walrus!!

The was fun, lots of songs I've never heard before and interesting commentary. Not sure my somewhat mainstream musical tastes will fit manys a Walrus, but it is a good spectator sport!

Congrats to all regardless of your finishing place :)

This is the version I used. No lyrics for first 50 seconds. It's 7 minutes long, even more filler :D There's actually some good symmetry because the guitar starts just as the wolf attacks. Da da da bit starts at the dead body.

I would have given you two or three points less for that version. I prefer the other so just as well you didn't gain a fluke win. :P

For what's it worth, my favourite categories overall were

    1. Shower Scene
    2. The Stairway Shootout
    3. Initiation's Over
    4. Agnes It's Me Billy
    5. Dinner Scene
    6. On The Moors
