    This is brilliant stuff.

No way kids would get most of the jokes.

Dustin needs to host his own show for adults on a Saturday night

    Wakey wakey RTE

I’m the same, I literally have been watching with big smile on my face and tears of laughter

It’s just such joy! Can’t get over the difference in Ray!!

    He is RTEs under-utilised talent

    He’s excellent off the cuff

Also this stuff is Darcys talent

I haven’t laughed so much in ages. I want the new year to be filled with weekly instalments of The Den.

Francis Brennan just liked one of my tweets.
It can't get any better now.

....and on International Francis Brennan Day of all days. All is brilliant.

I swear to god, the Den and the Tommy Tiernan Show nearly make up for the rest of the shíte RTE put out.

Dirty/amused look from Ray when Dustin mentioned Fantagate.
Best thing RTE have done in years.

It's absolutely brilliant. My 8yo daughter got none of the jokes but still watched it all. Every one of them dressed as Francis Brennan doing their own impressions of him oblivious to what all the others were doing. Total chaos! Fair play to whoever in RTE took the risk of letting them run riot for an hour every week. I hope it comes back after Christmas.
There was an ad for the 'After School Hub' after last night's show and all I could think of was the poor fare on offer for the kids of today!

Disappointed Francis Brennan didn't stay on the line to participate in the outro dance thing they do. I mean, on Francis Brennan day of all days...

But I don't think the Den will be back on after Christmas, and those involved have said as much. There's an episode of Frasier where Woody shows up in Seattle, and he and Frasier have a great time telling old stories from Cheers, but they both quickly realise that they don't have much in common going forward. The Den would probably hit a similar type of wall if it were to continue.

But, having said that, a Christmas Crisis or do pre-taped links between shows on Christmas day.... that'd be special. If they could do that, it'd be a great send-off

    Another extremely fun episode.
Some killer lines from Dustin as usual, but the part with him talking about getting a christmas tree had me in stitches for some reason.
Dustin has gone very dub this week lol

I was doubled over laughing at that bit. Zag trying to comprehend what he was saying was absolute comedy gold.

It’s the best thing on RTE at the moment.
