    What’s the story with this

Darcy forced to do it to in some way justify the huge money RTÉ are throwing at him?

you know, for Dustin ribbing him about The Saturday Night Show, this might just be worth the effort.

Think they’re hoping for some of the nostalgia, like parents watching the toy show with their kids.....

I suspect there'll be a lot of people in their 30s and 40s trying to get their totally uninterested kids to watch it.

This is just.......what :D The girl in black isn't impressed.

The accent on the girl who was presenting though

Might have been better to have this in a later slot and have it for adult audiences than kids. At the moment it’s not appealing to kids nor adults, can’t see it being a success so far anyways.

I loved getting home from school to watch the den but this is kind of ruining that memory for me

I thought his 'you look like a Grand National winner' comment was a bit uncalled for, tbh.

That was one of his common ribs back in the day. Might be a little too strong for this generation.

That would be her own authentic regional accent...refreshing to hear and not the usual almost required D4/Dort/AA Roadwatch accent on TV and radio in recent years.

I totally disagree I think it's great fun!
Can see it doing really well ratings wise.

That's actually not a bad show at all! Probably a touch of nostalgia, but good job all round I think. D'Arcy should stick to this stuff, it suits him much better than the dreary rent-a-celeb chat shows.
