Yeah we use parcel wizard about 4 times a month since it came out and never had one problem (only courier that won't ring me and ask me to pick it up from the local village 5 miles down the road :D)

Looking for <50 inch TV for father-in-law if anyone has any recommendations

    Ta

I got this 50" LG Smart TV for a family member last week for €439- cracking tv for the price and a 'brand'. Not generally too concerned about brands, but they do get software releases to cure issues a bit more often.

Importantly for some, the LG (and Samsungs) have FREESAT rather than free to air. For your father in law this might be important as the channel guide and channel order is a lot more straightforward. A straightforward enough button push changes between Saorview and Freesat.

    https://powercity.ie/product/50UN7000

There are a couple of variants too in Currys for another €50 I think that have a 'magic remote' for voice control etc, but this was not of interest in my family members case, but if it is you will find those models in Harveys, Currys etc. (All begin with 50UN - UN is for 2020 tv's, so if you see UM it is 2019).

You can of course spend another couple of hundred easy (including for LG 50"), but you are looking at features/qualities that your father in law is unlikely to notice!

I bought a similar set over the summer, they're good fun. We watch a few YouTube videos and go from there. Some drinks turn out great, others not so much. Great price for the set. The set I got was about €20 but only had half the stuff your one does.

Maybe they changed the conditions of the offer so, or sold too many Switches, because I got one on that offer. Couldn't see any offers anywhere else apart from that.

I have this which is good fun for that.. but rarely use it! :(

(oh, ignore the selling price from some crazy Marketplace seller.. got it for about €40).

Use it with the app and it’ll indicate measurements - if you overpower, it’ll adjust additional measurement to make up for it.

To be honest - I only really have three cocktails at home - Espresso Martini, Mojito and Old Fashioned.

We got our LG TV from Richer Sounds in Belfast last year during the Black Friday sale with a further £50 off. They have a very nice LG TV 55 inch for €549 with free delivery and a 6 year warranty.

Now that's some set! I break my set out maybe once a month It's a bit of harmless fun for not a whole lot of money. €20 - €50 price range would suit most people's home needs.

I do like an Old Fashioned, I watched Mad Men over the Summer and got a bit of a taste for them. I love making whiskey/amaretto sours too.

I'm already getting anxiety about that shaker :D If you can find a good boston shaker and get the knack of separating them they are so much easier to use. The wooden frame alone is probably worth the few quid though and you can always upgrade the bits that go into it.

Worked a few days ago for plenty of people on the Nintendo forum and HUKD.

When you create a list, there are select video games and consoles in their select items. A switch was one of them, as was a handful of decent titles.

    Try it.
Not working anymore , got onto support about it , looks like the change the terms and conditions

I have it in the porch. Router is in the sitting room . Maybe 15 feet away and through a wall. If that helps at all

Just ordered a Switch Neon console and two games by creating a wish list from the link Sugarman kindly linked to and the KWL15 15% discount was automatically added at checkout e.g the console price was reduced from £279 to £232.50 which is actually a 16.5% discount with free delivery to Dublin estimated for Friday.

Saved £60 or circa €66 overall which isn't too be sneezed at!!

    Thanks Sugarman, appreciate the tip.

For a start, never pay in euros on the Amazon site.

    (But that's a side point)
