Waterford guilty of ill discipline and wayward shooting. A lethal combination.

Commentary In Irish on Rte 2 or is it just the rte player?

Cummins said that Waterford haven't yet met a team with a half-forward line that is strong in the air.

He mustn't watch Gearoid Hegarty or the rest of the Limerick lads play then.

Must be just the RTE player.

While since Waterford were in Croker, it'll take some time to find the posts.

Just the rte player. It won’t let you use the English for some reason(well the reason is rte player) so I’ve stopped using it.

The waterford goalie should have came for the ball

Too easy. Kilkenny look far more composed.

You can stick a fork in this one already.

    Waterford looking a bit stagestruck

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,534 ✭✭✭Chalk McHugh

Jake Dillon so ponderous in possession is indicative of Waterford's slopiness. This could get away from them very quickly.

Fact he'd lost his balance from the save probably the reason for that

Waterford's first touches are atrocious. So many times various players failing to take possession under little or no pressure.

Kilkenny well in control, Waterford off the pace

Case in point from that Waterford puck out. Straight to the corner back only for it to boink him on the helmet.

Disappointing, Waterford failing to execute the basics all over the pitch

  • Registered Users Posts: 38,044 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

    Not Waterfords day

    Kilkenny far more hungrier

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,534 ✭✭✭Chalk McHugh

Waterford fortunate to be just five in arrears but Kilkenny look the far better team.

Kilkenny five point up but all that hurling and dominance and only five points?

Disaster for Waterford so far. Every time they go forwards the touches/decisions/handpasses are terrible. Hanging in there though, kilkenny should be further ahead.

Buckley has been very good at 6 for Kilkenny, cleaning up alot of stuff back there.

Cahill wielding the axe early as Dillon was well off the pace.
