Looks like 3 games in 14 days strikes again, TJ and Callum Lyons been outstanding so far

Or... aka the team who lost previously losing again.

These guys train like professionals, 3 weeks is hardly a big ask.
Theres plenty of teams in team sports winning for 9 months straight.

Sure I played about 5 games in 3 weeks during the summer and I was drinking the night before nearly every game, if I can do that in my mid 30s, I'm sure these professionals can manage better.

You'd swear people never watched a game of hurling before, 7 pts can we wiped in a good 5 minutes. Expect an exciting second half.

    Keep running at them, Waterford.

Waterford building momentum only to gift Kilkenny that free.

Has to be a big part of it, also the fact that Kilkenny rarely (if ever!) under perform on the big stage.

They are so good mentally. Always performing to their ability! And it's not like they've a team full of all Ireland winners!

Such a needless free to Kilkenny for overtraveling. Waterford have given them a lot of soft scores.

Some hard, direct running from Waterford has the cats on the back foot. Fairly impressive start to the second half.

Surely that's a yellow card? Very cynical.

    You've changed your tune! :)

That should have been a yellow for Kilkenny number 2.

When oh when are the GAA going to instruct refs to dish out yellows for rugby tackles close to goal? It's nearly as bad as the spare hand at this stage

Kilkenny getting away with the Cynical **** again. What's new

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,208 ✭✭✭formerlyET

Waterford just need to keep running at these boys. No respect. Take them on, every time.

Hardly another second half collapse from Kilkenny? Wexford in '18 (still won) Dublin this year..

  • Eoin Murphy was a lucky duck twice there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,534 ✭✭✭Chalk McHugh

Fantastic turnaround. The pace has been relentless though and hard to keep that up.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,115 ✭✭✭✭castletownman

Had that Murphy mistake fallen at the other end, Kilkenny would have capitalised with a goal. Always do.

Waterford have the beaten of them if they used the ball better and took their chances.

Hogan needed to get that - the curly finger was coming.

Kilkenny don’t have the legs for the high intensity for 70 mins.

Similar semi final last year, raced ahead of Limerick and just scraped it.

They're going to run out of steam, Kilkenny will finish strong

  • Can someone take off his helmet and see if that's Eoin Murphy underneath...

Waterford running at Kilkenny is bearing fruit, lead down to a point!
