I am in early 1000 OOM for Dublin and have an interview in 2 weeks, I didn't think I would hear about an interview for a couple of months but it seems to be moving faster now!

That's such good news. I'm in the 1100s for Dublin. Hoping I get called soon

Good news for you so, hopefully you should hear soon..i got a message to confirm I was still interested for Dublin and they give you less than 24 hours to reply. Then a couple of days later they send you an application form and tell you to send pic of Id and give you about 48 hours to hand them in so keep a close eye on the message board 😉

Would set myself up on zoom with a family member or friend first so you get a good idea of how it works.....one you have your first or second chat on it you won't be as nervous.
Of course usual interview nerves will set in anyway but they will allow for that. I heard they are quite good at settling your nerves before the interview!

There are some good tips on the attachment they sent with the interview invite , it's worth a read...tips about finding your camera lens so you can look at that when speaking...etc...best of luck

Re Donegal, anyone gotten a job offer?

  • Registered Users Posts: 18 Penny_pocket

Anyone have issues uploading the application form and emailing passport? I had to do both by midnight last night. The link in my message to upload the application form is giving an error pop up and I’ve just got a bounce back email in my junk telling me the co2020 email inbox is full so the email with my passport wasn’t delivered.

Try it again this morning explaining what happened - I'm sure you're not the only one.

It's all very secretive alright. I'm sure your paperwork is fine & in the unlikely event it isn't I'm sure they'll contact you.

    Hi Celticbest,

Submitted the paperwork now and in fairness they are good at getting back to me.

I was on jobseekers from March to August so they have asked for a letter from Intreo confirming what payments I received in 2020.

I don't see why it matters but i have applied for the letter anyway.

I did one and it's fine. They will tell you what will happen and go through it all as you go along.
The best of luck with the interview.

Just curious for anyone who recently started a new role, with most office staff working from home and social distancing with staff in the office, how would training in of new staff operate?

I had the same. Tried ringing and the lines are closed so sent all the requirements and explanation to info@publicjobs.ie. I'm waiting for an acknowledgement but I only sent it 4 hours ago. I expect it to be fine....I hope

I did the same this morning and I’ve just got an email back to say it was an error with the deadline closing before it should have and then I got another email with confirmation that it’s all been submitted.

Have examples of the competencies. A little knowledge of the CS, more specifically it's values would be advantageous.

    Hi Sarah Elizabeth,

I passed this interview last month. As far as i remember these were the questions:

    1. Teamwork, Customer Service & Communication Skills:

There was a big focus on this one, in particular what was the best team you were a part of and what was it that made this team work so well?

    2. Delivery of Results and Information Management/Processing:

For this the question related to how you manage time, and what do you do to ensure you can delivery on time to the best of your ability

    3. Drive and Commitment:

What motivates you in the work you do?

    4. Specialist Knowledge, Expertise and Self Development:

Was asked a lot about my knowledge of MS Office. in particular Excel, Word & Outlook.

    Good Luck!!!

I emailed them on Monday. So it's pretty slow moving.
