To be fair the proper cold air hasn’t arrived yet.

Yeah but it's fleeting no matter what happens, when the cold air eventually gets here it'll give a brief covering but once the sun gets going tomorrow morning it'll all be gone again. Looking for a proper snow day off a westerly isn't worth the hassle

Far more enjoyable just watching everything the Atlantic can throw at us on days like today. For me the massive thundering hail downpours are far more interesting than a bit of sleety snow!

I’d like to see some snow to be honest. I’m tired of wind and rain.

Moderate snow shower in Kildare. Was fleeting so only really began to stick to the roofs and grass.

Loud long squall out here. Bitter cold ( one of these days I may surprise you with accuracy) Not seen the outside but there would have to be huge precipitation to stick at all. There has been frequent hail.

Daylight reveals a smattering of white on the far mountains. The wind is fierce and I could only catch a glimpse of the ocean which is in a total turmoil. Bitterly cold and I plan to hibernate. MY face is icy and I was out a couple of minutes only.

Snow in Dublin City centre now

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,199 ✭✭✭✭stephenjmcd

A mix of everything in Dublin city, some snow, then sleet. Doing nothing but melting as soon as it hits the ground. We're probably just marginal with ground temps. But it's bitter out regardless
