I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better 2 days of racing cards some line up at Leopardstown

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,610 ✭✭✭yaboya1

Asterion Forlonges for me in that race.
Will he go for supreme then given owners also have shiskin?

Rory Delargy very against Honeysuckle tomorrow
Also very on the side of Min

I would be happy to just watch the champion hurdle, might have a few bob on KD if it drifts anymore for an interest

Who's he with? Honeysuckle has great potential and I am a fan but she has the second best form in the race. Sharjah should be disputing favoritism at the minimum. Her price is at least half a tick off where it should be. Said as much earlier on the ante post prices.

Ground going to be riding good enough i'd have thought? Good to soft, soft in places? Not much rain around Dublin lately.

Pissed rain this morning Slatts. Hopefully avoid last years debacle of the quick ground and loads of non runners

    Good deluge

It'll be soft I'd imagine. Poss good to soft for the first couple of races on Saturday. The ground takes very little to cut up at this time of year.

Patrick Mullins was down to ride Faugheen with Townend on Easy Game. Townend now on Faugheen with Robbie Power on Easy Game. Wonder what conversations were had there.

Narrative for the weekend for me will be the form of the Mullins stable relative to how they were running at Christmas.

If they go well on Saturday, will nearly back his blind on Sunday.

They've been watering the chase track for the last couple of weeks. Doing whatever they can to keep the word "good" out of the going. Would expect it to be Yielding tomorrow and Sunday. There's another few mm's of rain forecast in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Erik Bloodaxe seems a good thing in the bumper tomorrow to me
Good performance will see him go off fav at the festival, now might be the time to back him

    Min/Laurina double done for tomorrow
    HUP!

Some firms have Laurina priced at 2/1 for tomorrow. I'm not entirely convinced by her but jesus she will beat this lot. She has to go off closer to evens than 2/1

I'd say she will hack up
    Doubled her with Min

If she does hack up, there are a few novice chase markets will change over night!!

If she didn't run last time she'd be 1/2 to beat this lot.

    All aboard Battleoverdoyen!

Im a big fan of his and think he'll win the Rsa but this trips hardly ideal at top level....

Lets hope they all get around safely and it is a great race.

I am interested to see how tornado flyer runs. There is more to see here i think.
