They've left us with only 7 weeks between the results and the next sitting so I'm probably only going to have time to do 2, possibly 3. I will probably try to get 2 weeks off unpaid to be able to even have time to study for two.

I'm working part-time and getting experience in a solicitors so I can't really speak from a similar standpoint. I'm doing 1-2 hours on my work days and about 5-8 hours on my days off. Starting tomorrow and not looking forward to going back to the grind, but oh well.

Does anyone have sample answers (not Griffiths preferably, as they seem to just repeat the same answer for a topic) for any of the following exams:

    Company
    Criminal
    EU
    Equity
    Constitutional

Hey, Just wondering what everyone's study plan is now that the timetable has been released for March? If you're working full time how many hours of study have you roughly allocated per week between now and March?

I was lucky in my last job because I got a full month and a bit off to study so I didnt have to do much study after work prior to that time off but for my current job I'll probably just have my annual leave so I'm a bit nervous about that!

I'm starting today, just organising notes and doing up a time table. I am working full time but really want to do 4, really not sure that this is possible at this point as I had months to study for the last time.

I will try and do 3 hours a night after work and 8 to 10 hours at the weekends and just pray I do enough to past 4.

Serious question though, is 4 even possible with this little time. My exams and one after the other on the second week so that makes it harder. Not sure if I should just try 3, I dont know how many I passed the last time!

Also if anyone has topics from property, contract, equity and constitution so I can narrow my studies? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I've a week off between finishing my current job and starting my next so gonna put the shoulder to the wall that week and see how much I can get done. I'm currently doing 13 hour days in work so studying in the evening now is just not an option, it would just be unproductive and that would make me more stressed.

After that, I'll do about 4 hours in the evening after work and work through my lunch hour, on days off, I'll do between 8-10. I'm aiming to do 2 this sitting but that is only because I'm not planning on going to Blackhall in 2021, so it does depend on the individual.

However, it is difficult to properly get into the groove of study without the results from the last sitting because if I've failed anything then obviously I'll be doing them this sitting as I'll have all the notes done etc.

You reckon, it's possible to do 5 if you're studying full time staritng today? Wasn't expecting them to be this soon.

I am hoping and praying that I only have 2 left to do but It will obviously depend on how these results go for me in January! You guys sound about the same as myself. I started studying about 2 weeks ago but only really starting to get into a proper amount this week. I'm using this week off work for christmas to study every day for about 6-7 hours(took christmas eve and day off because I'm not that psycho) then when I get back to work, I am planning on 2 hours every evening and about 7 hours per weekend day.. We shall see how long this routine takes to give me a mental breakdown :)

I would 100% say this is possible if you are purely studying and not working from now until March

Cheers that's really encouraging, will just need to keep the head down untill then. Only did my first two in November, so still trying to gauge how much prep is needed per subject.

I had 5.5 weeks of studying for 3 exams and managed to pass all 3 and get really high marks in 2 of them. Before the 5.5 weeks I was working full time and doing a couple of hours here and there but not much tbh. If you're doing 5 it'll be tough but if you stick to a schedule and have 9 weeks to just study I think you should be able to make a decent stab at it.

    Constitutional

Hey, just trying to get back into study again. Working full time and hoping to only have 2 left to do.
Does anyone have any up-to-date exam grids for Constitutional or does anyone have any idea what's come up in the last two sittings?

    Thanks!

I’m also awaiting results, registered for Hybrid but haven’t been given access. I am assuming they have checked the results and have given access to people who have passed but I wish they would just come out and tell us.

They couldn't do that surely... or maybe your right.

It’s probably just my pessimistic mind. But it’s poorly handled. I rang them about two weeks ago and they were very nice about it, all apologies and assured me we would all get our results in the week of the 11th and it would be easy to catch up.
I was happy with that but hearing that some people have been given Moodle access is at odds with what I was told.

I totally agree. I had parked it mentally and now I am all over the place with it for the last few days, thinking that surely they would not be telling people to keep the dates free unless they had passed.

They really have made a shambles of it. I sent emails last week but they are all out of office until the 4th of Jan...

Did everyone get access on the same date ?

Hi guys would anyone have constitutional past papers/grid?
I have company, contract, property, criminal, equity papers and grids (bit out of date but) in exchange!

I only know one person on here who got access and she was lovely enough to tell me (and mention there was a lot of material already uploaded) and say she hopes we all get the call about access- but hasn’t been given her results or told about passing. I’m worried for sure now about whether I passed hahah!

Hey guys, hope ye all were able to relax over the Christmas, can't believe there is such little time left before the next set of FE1s. I'm trying to decide how many out of the 4 I have left I should attempt, really wanted to go for Blackhall in September!

Anyway if anyone has any updated Constitution or property grids (to include the November 2020 exams) I would really appreciate it. I have good notes for Criminal, Company, EU and Tort to swap!

Hi all, hoping to do 2 exams in March. I have already done Criminal, Property, Equity and EU. Out of Contract, Constitutional, Tort and Company - which would you recommend doing together?

I have sat Tort and Company, company might be a good bet considering the short time frame we have, I know 2 questions on the November paper (if I remember correctly) were carbon copies of past questions, so I would recommend getting papers and examiners reports. It is also easy to pick topics out from the grid.

Tort on the other hand is harder in that you need to pretty much know the whole course. I found it the easiest of the 4 exams I sat in November (Company, criminal and EU were the others) I think maybe because I found it so interesting. People say constitution and tort are the larger subjects so if you have not studied them before it might be best to split them up.

Hope that helps, I am trying to pick from equity property contract and constitution, I am leaning towards property and constitution!

Also, if anyone has the property legislation I would appreciate it.

Do you use the constitution much in the exam? I have the book, should I be tabbing and high lightening as much as the companies act?

Tort and Constitutional tend to be long enough courses. So you could pair them with one of the other two. Or you could power through Contract and Company now, leaving you with the two longer courses left and a longer time frame to study?

Whichever you are least confident in, I would do first, that way if all goes wrong with that course you'd have 3 left in Oct rather than pushing it out another year.

    Hi all,

Just wondering would anybody have an up to date equity and property grid they wouldn’t mind sharing? Trying to work out if there’s enough time to give just those two a go in March?
