Quick WFH lunchtime wash, holding up really well since the detail. The tar spots just wipe off with ease. d139ff2fda5d8e0b58621fded58c99f2.jpg

Yes, I'm the first owner in Ireland.

They’ve only registered 230 151’s in the 12 months since I brought mine in.

Lovely colour on that. I’ll keep an eye out for it.

Brother of mine went from a 530d to a 420, and couldn’t back it at all. Within about a month he was in a 330. I’d say for anyone the move from a ‘30 to a ‘20 would be difficult!

Yes, I've had a few 20ds and the 30d is night and day to be honest. 30d is just so much smoother even in diesel terms.

Congrats Bazz - what colour is it? Hard to make out in the light in the photo (mineral grey?). Don't be shy with the spec (and plans). Best of luck with it

Ah lads I'm devastated, only had it three months.
Pretty sure insurance is gonna write it off now :(

Thanks, yes mineral grey with oyster interior. Has the M Sport Plus pack including larger blue brake calibers, head up display, adaptive chassis and led headlights with high beam assist. It also has a carbon fibre boot lip spoiler and gloss black kidney grill.
    Well wear Bazz!

    Cheers GF.

Ericca that shouldn't be a right off.

Ericca that shouldn't be a right off.

Garage has quoted insurance €3700 to repair it. They're probably only gonna value the car at €6000. I've never been through anything like this before but people have been telling me to expect it to be written off :(

Seems steep on the price.... You could go down the fix yourself road.
You agree a price they give you a cheque minis the vat charge....

Then get it repaired and see can you work out a discount, these places add on a fair chunk when insurance is involved.

try different garages, its your choice where you want to get it done. Price may differ.

    @Ericaaa

Try local panel beaters. Depending on your location some boardsies can help your out with the names of reputable independent lads that would surely do the job cheaper.

If you really like the car it can be saved and as good as new and personally I think it’s such a cool and unique car it’s worth saving.

Panel damage doesn’t look awful it’s the possibility the frame needs to be jigged that’ll hurt you.

The exterior colour really suits the car. Never going to be too many G30 540i going around Ireland either.
