Couchside. Dry hands too Grem, ugh. I've got 20 tubes of the old Norwegian formula on the go at this stage, they're stashed everywhere.

I'm beyond happy to isolate (in fact woo hoo, no more feeble excuses needed for a bit) but it's definitely time to move briskly into the ignore ALL media/commentary/speculation/infographics phase. Just gotta keep a watchful eye on a few older peeps and not think about things too hard.

My Friday night movie is Amélie, something charming to offset today's grey.

The only member of the household that was still awake was the mutt, so we went for a walk and are now sitting on the balcony, me enjoying a beer and him enjoying some Swiss dog treats.

I seriously wouldn’t mind getting locked down here for a month :) (wife bottled 40 liters of beer and 20 of wine so we are good)

Evening all....I am glued to the virus thread,it's scaring the life out of me but it's like a drug Anyway I've decided I'm doomed so I'm opened a can at 5.01pm, didn't enjoy it so tried a glass of wine, not doing it for me either, I've also eaten a huge bag of Keoghs.

Did an Aldi trip at 9am,under 50e so no major stockpiling, got nails ,eyebrows and lashes done and then stayed in the house for the rest of the day.I have to say everyone around here seems to be staying put,its like storm Emma but without the snow, eerily quiet.
I heard the icecream van around this evening, unbelievable, of all the filthy, dirty ,virus spreading things to do,ass*hole.

Anyway watching the film on rte2 now,so funny, need a laugh after reading all the gloom all day.

    Any shenanigans tonight?

Same here. I thought if nothing else that yoke would be off the road.
Love your style, Duvet, same here. If it's going to get me, hey, I'm going to look good :D

I’m struggling with this whole isolation thing, but I’m thinking that I might try and make a better effort of it going forward. I think I could possibly be in the at risk category (and we know I suffer enough with respiratory/upper respiratory issues!) so I really shouldn’t be taking chances. But I need to not let cabin fever get the best of me!

Right now I am bedside, snuggled up and safe :)

I have been sent home as my work has shut down and I'm already starting the over eating.
When we had the bad snow, I ate out of boredom and I can feel my will already weakening this time again.
Although, with the snow we were housebound. So I must make a resolution to get out walking this time around.
Someone hide the cream cheese please.

G'morning :D I'm going in search of food. I had a good sleep. It passed in the blink of an eye. If every sleep was like that...anyway, tell me if you can see this?

Good morning all, mutt decided that 4 hours was sufficient sleep for me, so now we are out shopping.

All international flights into Saudi suspended as of tomorrow, so I guess that I’m kinda stuck here.

But if necessary, you can comandeer a plane :)

All the best post apoclyptic survivors clubs have their own pilot, sometimes one each of plane and helicopter pilots. Mine has a paramedic but no pilot.I could get a helicopter up but after that all bets are off.
According to my research pilots always last until at least Day 300.

    Should be the national anthem.

So many just don't get the whole thing about using tissues and not coughing/ sneezing into their hands etc... :(

Rotten at the best of times, ugh.

Homeside messaging like mad. The Situation seems to be bringing people together now :)
My distant cousin near Milan has been in touch (yay for Whatsapp). My friend in France has ordered garden party furniture and an iron fire pit thingy and we're plotting a big get together summer party thing. There's an unexpectedly exciting mood in my circle :)

House cleaned and I’m already fed up.
Gym closed, beauty salon has no appointments. Can’t face any more of my own cooking. Pub it is for pints and when dinner when they start to serve it

Agh, so wife decided that we had to get Dunkin Donuts, the parking space outside the store was too small for my truck so I parked across it, unfortunately I didn’t see the traffic police behind me and just got a text for a 25 Euro violation.

    Bloody expensive donuts.

On the positive side, all of our stores have loads of toilet paper.

Come on so, there was plenty of sliced limes there yesterday so they’re well equipped for the corona anyway.

Back in bed after watching rubbish television. Contemplating going to the shops. Or I could go sleep and then when I wake up it will be a more reasonable hour for a pint :p
