This coming weekends card has to rank up there with one of the worst ever!

Carlos Condit heading the Prelims tonight, hard to believe he doesn't make the main card on a below average Fight Night.

looking at his record I feel like I'm looking at bj penns

I don't think he's quite as bad as penn was but right now I think he's
    gone at this game
I think mc gee will probably beat him

Not a great card, but my teammate is fighting on it so I’ll be tuning in.
Faces a tough opponent in Charles Jourdain. He’s has a full camp and at his proper weight so in a much better position in this fight compared to his short notice LW bout.

That was a banger. Not even going to attempt to call it

    I’m obviously bias.
But 30-27 after Josh dropped Jourdain and broke his nose in the first is criminal incompetence.

Then scoring the 3rd a 10-8 robbed Josh of the split decision.

No way was that a 10-8 and never a 30-27 but probably a fair outcome!

There’s no way for draw to be fair without 10-8 being accurate though.
Jourdain won the 3rd by a clear margin. But the rules state 2 small margins, no matter how small, beats a single clear round (that’s not a 10-8).

Ah yeah I get i was somewhat contradicting myself but just pointing out it was a very even fight in the end.

Was the main card worth watching?

    k
Absolutely. It was a good close fight, and good matchmaking. He needed to do more in the 3rd to cement it.

The takeaway for me is that he was an big underdog coming in verses a highly touted Jourdain. And he proved that he deserves to be there at FW (after a last short notice fight at LW).

    Craaaazy
And Felder/Hardy right, that'll be on replay for the next 5 years! They were both throwing with incredible power too.

I bet we see a few more of those KOs, everyone is going to be practicing that !

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,884 ✭✭✭SlowBlowin

Thats got to be the fastest the UFC have ever released a full fight on youtube. Its live now, so within 30 minutes of the live fight ending, they obviously like that KO.

I bet we see more people messing it up :)
Remember when Weidman tried a wheel kick.

Spinning back kick is commonly known but it’s rarely thrown in MMA compared to spinning side kick. He threw that on auto-pilot.

On closer inspection I got suckered in, the link was not official, it had the red UFC logo but the channel name was UFC Full Fights.
