Because they are desperate to believe they live in a fascist state because if they do then that makes their deranged mental illness somehow seem rational and justified.
Only one president has run concentration camps in the US and wasn't Trump, it was FDR during WW2. You know, FDR, the great liberal and a Democrat, but these speds would have you believe enforcing your own immigration policies, that don't differ from pretty much any other counties on earth and is in fact far more liberal than many, somehow constitutes fascism worse than Hitler.
Have the amended the poster to include the rampant use of the OK gesture and clowns in popular culture yet?

Note he also references 'concentration camps' in his manifesto, which is one of the reasons I'd suggest that the mainstream media have largely not reporting this in any great detail, as they would know that people would no doubt immediately tie his actions to the recent criticism of the detention camps by some democrats in the states, given that they too been using that term to describe them.
