At a guess I'd say you won't get paid until that info has been received.

I'd say so but I can live with that, mine will only be weaned by the weekend so there will be another 2 weeks feeding to record for me.

Bit poor that there is not an option to submit online though.

When there is a doubt always go to source. I emailed the beef schemes section.
They replied that you retain the meal feeding records yourself and only send them in if specifically requested to do so.
I would post a screenshot of the email but I don't really know how and it also contains personal info of mine.

Thanks for clarifying that Grueller. It really shouldn't be this hard to figure the t's and c's

Does your chosen Laboratory send a notification to DAFM that they received fecal samples or do you have to do any action in relation to this?

The letter I got states I have to submit "records showing commencement of meal feeding" & "meal purchases receipts" by the 06/Nov/2020 or face fines!

Presume that means I'm being audited

    Quick question,

Has everyone who sent in dung samples received their results? I sent samples by registered post on 13/10 but have heard nothing back since, usually emailed the results.
Just a bit concerned that I mightnt be paid for this after going to the bother of doing it. An Post tracker confirms they were delivered.
    Cheers....

I downloaded and filled in the form this morning, Option 2 on the vaccination form, along with the prescriptions. I'll have to ask the Vet for individual receipts as the statement has other items included.

Better to have it ready in advance.

Who did people here find best for dung sampling? Who gave the most detailed analysis? How much does it cost?
I have a few pens of beef cattle that I want to check before I go putting in any unnecessary dosing into them.
    Thanks for any suggestions.

I got results the day after dropping in the samples. Have you rang the lab??

Hope it's not tbh as lads had plenty of time to get it done by now anyway.
And if it was extended it might only delay our payments.

I've heard nothing back either from my dung samples. Luckily I registered the post. Must be gone 2 weeks or more now.

I could be wrong but I think that was the last day to weigh but you have up to 7 days after weighing to input the weights online. So all not lost yet if you weighed but just haven’t uploaded yet..

Hi Patsy, if its the crowd in Roscommon ring them, I was the same as you and they had put in my email address wrong

No, weights couldn’t be inputted on ICBF after 12 midnight last night which i think is unfair on farmers who weighed in the last few days.
It doesn’t affect me but a neighbour of mine got caught out, he thought he had a week to put in the weights the same as people who weighed earlier had.

Lads had plenty of notice to do it in fairness. It just seems like putting something on the long finger a bit too long. (Which we can all be guilty of sometimes)

Sometimes only be when offices open that online facilities would be shut down. Worst case scenario they may take the posted version, even a few day late
